I think you're right.

It might sound paranoid of me, but I wouldn't put it past these guys (and their camps) to have an agreement in which both sides trade places as the one culpable.

When you consider the degree to which both profit from carrying on this charade, it makes sense.

Plus, boxing is nothing but a oligopoly. And oligopolies live and die depending on their ability to effectively collude.
