I guess you're right, i never really thought about it that way. At least a quick post fight interview with Merchant at the airport before departing would have been nice though.

 

I heard there was a shit load of Maverick fans waiting to greet him at the airport in Florida to celebrate his victory. No shit, it must have been about 20 people there just for him.

 

I heard Maverick beat up one of his own fans. He's just not a very nice man it seems.

 

I knocked out Stingerkarl. It only took one punch.

REED and I had dinner last night along with Alejandra Calva, marketing rep for Tecate beer, one of her associates, and Kevin Keane and Mike Doss.

REED is a good dude and it was a pleasure meeting him last night, and the fights were awesome.

 

I don't know what you are referring to, but the poster known as Maverick failed to show up yesterday in Houston, and I am done with this thread.

I hung out yesterday and talked boxing with Bernard Hopkins, Chris John, Max Kellerman, Doug Fisher, and many other fine boxing bolk, and Sean Reed was the only fightbeat poster there.
