Of course they're honorary, no way does a 25 y.o. who's an olympic gold medalist and a world champ with more than 35 fights, in less than 5 years, had the time to obtain a serious phd. In top of it, Wlad was involved in a lot of the promotion of his earlier fights. Getting a phd is a real commitment, not something you can do on the side.
