According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are currently negotiating together to receive $15 million each (against backend) for The Hangover 3. The three made under $1 million each for the first film, which grossed $467 million worldwide. They then made around $5 million each for the sequel, which grossed another $581 million worldwide. The studio hopes to start filming in the summer, set in LA. Todd Phillips will again direct the film, which is targeted for a Memorial Day 2013 release. Luckily the world ends in 2012...Hell that might be the reason for it. The Mayans saw Hangover 3 coming..
Never thought I'd live in a world in which Ed Helms commanded $15 million a film. Seems like just yesterday he was scraping up Steve Carell's crumbs wherever he went.
Seriously, the first one sucked. I had about 20 people recommend it. It may be the most overrated movie of all time next to Napoleon Dynamite. Both pieces of fecal matter in my humble opinion.
