Whitaker can't hit, and is nearly unwatchable at 147 due to the amount of holding he does. PBF definitely!

No I didn't. I counted the number of times he clinched. And it was outrageous.

Both are pretty useful. Whitaker shades it for me based on opposition and relative performances against (very different versions of) Oscar. Floyd's longevity is proving better, but then he doesn't snort as much coke.

Not at 147 he wasn't. Did he have even one meaningful win there?

Both are masters of defence, although their methods are very different. Who's was better?

Whitaker was clearly better defensively, Floyd is clearly better offensively. Floyd is also a lot more disciplined.

    What?

Whitaker used to do all kinds of dirty tricks. Of course when it happens in the 80s it's not "dirty/cheating" it's "masterful strategy".

whitaker did some strange shit like pulling down roger mayweather's trunks, putting azumah nelson on a headlock and punching behind his back and sometimes he'd grab his opponent's leg as if he was doing a single leg takedown.

all mayweather does is pushing off w/ his forearm/elbow. i dont ever recall floyd throwing a significant lowblow.

He did once in a while bend down below waist level which makes it illegal for your opponent to hit you.

Sure he bent the rules a bit but not on Floyd's level.

Breaking the rules is a huge part of Floyd's game, the elbow, the forearm to the throat, turning his back, ducking below the waist etc etc.

He does it constantly, it's part of his style, but somehow doesn't get called for it.

And Pernell Whitaker would've sonned Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao immediately.....and not set up a thousand roadblocks for not fighting Pac..

To answer the question, Whitaker isn't scared of 5'2 Filipino men who wear belts and pull their trousers up really high, so I would have to say Whitaker.

Does Mayweather have a dog? If so Pacquiao should eat it. Maybe that would piss of Floyd enough for him to want revenge.

Overruled...Senor Mayweather lack of balls is relevant to this case. NOT fighting fighting the best opponents of his generation is also relevant and show his greatness is not so great when measure among his peers. So Mr. Secretariat shut the fuck up before I find you in contempt!!

I think Chavez was great, but 4 months later he lost to Randall and 9 months later he lost to Randall again, but got a gift.

Whitaker got him at the right time and at the right weight for Whitaker.

Your '10x' claim is hyperbole even if Chavez had been at his best. It's BS when put into perspective.
