Stewards hatred for Floyd is ridiculous. However Diaz is a much better trainer for Cotto than Steward is.

Mayweather-Cotto will do 1.5 million buys. It will do huge ppv numbers.

Kind of disappointed its not in MSG. Floyd-Cotto in the Garden would be insane.

Which is why Floyd won't do it. He's such a fucking Charlatan of a man. Duran went there and fought Moore. Floyd's a cunt. It always has to be Floyd's way. The useless bastard wouldn't even give the fans the atmosphere of the garden to go with the relative formality that is fighting the remnants of post-Pac Cotto. Fuck him.

They have a "silent agreement" to not fight each other, make money elsewhere, and go to war through the press rather than in the ring.

Floyd hasn't fought outside of Vegas since he fought Sharmba Mitchell in 2005.

It's important because Pac vs. Bradley will be lucky to do 1 million...so in a sense Mayweather wins the 50/50 split ppv debate.

mayweather jr vs cotto will outsell pacquiao vs cotto. and any other pacquiao fight ever, for that matter.

true, because he's coming off an impressive victory. one of the best of his career. rather than beating some jewish stiff after getting his ass completely whipped.

The problem I have with all this is that, yes Floyd sells more PPV's than anyone else but that is because he fights about once a year. If people start using this 'Floyd sells loads' arguments to validate nonsense about who should get more cash, then what this encouarges is for MORE top fighters to fight LESS often. That is obviously :shit:

The Mayorga fight bombed on PPV, 250,000 buys or so.

    Really man?

How about the fact that 600k bought his last fight. I didnt think this needed an explination.

There is no evidence that Margarito has even been a PPV draw. If he was, his fight was Mosley would have been on PPV. Cotto has always been a bigger draw.
