come on, facial dammage is rarely a good indicator of actual dammage, you should know this, especially with a cut/swelling prone guy like Diaz. And it's not like Diaz landed many shots in this fight too. Condit was playing tag all night long

I think he matches better. Alway's expected Diaz to lose a decision to GSP kind of like he lost tonight. Not enough fluid or quick to catch up with a carefull fighter
I actually think gsp was intimidated by Diaz. Look at the way he defended how 'bad' he is on the primetime show. looked like a guy stressing to me. He must be delighted at this outcome
Did you watch the fight? Those were more than just taps my friend. You may lose but i dont. I think condit vs GSP is a great fight. I have always said so.
Still, Diaz performance tonight was pathetic. he wasn't willing to take some risks to clearly win the fight and was content on banking on a contreversial decision
i disagree, gsp is very cautious but not quite as quick, unpredictable, rangey, and mobile as condit. if anything i think gsp could shut diaz down with wrestling, but i think diaz has a legit chance of overwhelming gsp stansing if he can fend off takedowns. the one chance carlos has is power, he should try and ko gsp.
What kind of risk? That is the way he fights. He didnt do anything because Condit didnt let him. That is the beauty of it. That is probably why you thought it was garbage. You look at the fight and get mad at diaz for not doing shit. the fight i see is Condit executing a gameplan which doesnt allow Diaz to do shit.
How is it a great fight? With those kicks he does he's getting took down all night long. And fron the ground what then. Diaz is beautiful on the ground.n in even in the last round it was poetry to watch him work at conduit.
GSP-Condit should be decent, since condit will probably try to tap Georges china chin. Usually condit is a lot more entertaining than he was tonight
agree with that.i was surprised. its not easy fighting a guy who is moving constantly but he could have tried a lot harder, he was content with plodding forward getting potshotted.
Why makes you think he will do the kicks with GSP? the man is an intelligent fighter. And diaz beautiful on the ground? eh. Maybe 5 years ago. Not so much today. I doubt he even trains BJJ anymore.
If you had to name a few fighters you would absolutely not want to end on the ground with in the UFC. Diaz is one of those guys.
carlos fought the perfect fight to shut diaz down, and prevent gettng overwhlmed with punches, but you have to admit that diaz could have attacked harder and thrown more. he was too weary of condits unpredictable strikes.
conduit gsp is a non affair. By the way I'll go on record to say that Greg Jackson's and his fighters are generally boring .
at no point have I said Diaz won the fight. I just think the way conduit did it was a hit cheap. But it is what it is. Like i say though we've all lost out here on a potential great fight. Gsp conduit primetime will be insufferable having to listen to their fucking all American hero character bullshit.
