Yeah I'm pretty sure Trp is mistaking him for Marquadt, Leben has fought at 185 for some time now.

fell asleep before the main event, but from what i read, sounds like a typical sanchez fight but this time he clearly lost the first two rounds.

I think you meant Mike Swick. He had no business fighting Stephan Bonnar because he was too small, but even then he had a decent guillotine locked in that had Bonnar choking and gagging.

No, I was talking about the MW's. I just mistakenly added Leben's name with those that dropped down to 170 or lower.

But you're right. Swick had no business at 205. He actually fought for the WEC MW belt against Leben prior to TUF. I'm not sure why he entered the show as a light heavy.

Yep... Ellenberger's power had Sanchez tentative in the first 2 rounds. In the last round he just stalked Jake and started throwing bombs.

The last 3 minutes of the fight probably cost Ellenberger a shot at Condit. Not only because he was getting tooled but he also sustained a decent cut on his nose and between his eyes.

Shame Sanchez lost, I much prefer him to Burger. He should have gone for it in the first 2 rounds.

By the way, Brian Stann was a great fill-in on the pre-fight broadcast. How much better was he than guys like Jon Jones and Stephan Bonnar.

Fuel TV actually does a pretty good job on these telecast. I like the pre and post fight shows.

Damn, if that was a 5-round fight, Diego might have pulled it out. He did great in that last round against Ellenberger. Diego is a small welterweight fighting on the best in the division, and he was doing great against him.

I wonder who's next for Diego.

Screw the fight rounds, Diego should have fought like it was a 3rd round fight. He didn't.

That being said, I hope Dana is true to his word in that ALL main events will be 5 rounds from now on. Sanchez-Ellenberger could have been a classic over 5 rounds.
