Does McGirt get a big KO here?

    Hmmmmmm

This is a really intriguing fight

McGirt (hell, just about anybody with a decent pop in the mitts) has a chance in this one. But I am also interested in how Buddy (a relatively short, or at best average-height welter) deals with Breland's elongated stature. I also believe he'd have a hard time dealing with Breland's jab, which was excellent and really stung. Don't forget, Breland could crack and he could crack pretty effortlessly. This isn't like some big, hard-headed banger going on there against Breland and winning the war after losing the battle... guys like that (good ones, anyway) will always be favorites to beat Breland... McGirt was never that kind of fighter, he was a technician. Problem is, Breland not only has those physical attributes, he also has the skills.

Oddly enough, Simon Brown, who was humiliated by McGirt, would have a far better chance of beating Breland (I'd pick him without hesitation)

Always the possibility of the fragile Breland getting hurt and possibly KO'd, but I like him to beat Buddy by comprehensive decision

I agree about Simon Brown being a batter matchup for Breland. Breland is all wrong for McGirt.

McGirt would've been entirely out of his element against Breland and would've lost.
