Vitali needs to have a reeeeeeeal bad night for Chisora to pull off the upset, but it isn't going to happen. Can anyone see Del-Boy causing old Vitali any problems at all during the fight? How do you see it unfolding? Early KO? 12 round annihilation? Will Del-Boy try to bum Vitali and get disqualified? :dunno:

The result of 'Vitali vs X' is, Vitali lands arm-punches from the distance, stops the other guy from coming with well-timed arm-punches, pushes the guy around with his left hand, takes about ten punches during the fight and wins either by a shutout decision or a TKO after nine rounds.

Chisora isn't that bad and based on the Helenius fight he will actually try, but he is tailor-made for Vitali. This will be a repeat of the Williams fight - Vitali isn't quite as good anymore (his punches lack sharpness now) and Chisora is a bit faster and less powerful version of Williams

Chisora is a decent, domestic level HW. He is in way, waaaaaaaaaay over his head here. Honestly, if he wins this fight it will be the biggest HW shock since Lewis-Rahman I and possibly even bigger than that. Having said that, he is a game little fucker and he will definitely come to fight. The problem is that this very fact will open him up for a comprehensive beating.

Chisora has a very decent chin- he took big shots from Fury for 12 rounds and likewise from Helenius, both of whom can bang. He is in shape for this one. He is physically strong and has decent hand-speed. He seems to be very very stupid or very very brave. Maybe both.

He lacks power, save for the accumulative sort, and when he crowds his opponent, he throws wide, arcing shots. He showed a neat right uppercut vs Helenius but Robert was right there to be hit, often standing straight in front of Chisora and waiting for him to stop punching. I think Chisora won that fight.

He does go to the body, especially if you stand in there, and is an effective body puncher with both hands- jabs, rights, hooks either side.

He tries to double and triple up on the jab. He showed good head movement vs Helenius, trying to roll in under the punches. That was OK vs Helenius who really doesn't have a jab or a counter-left hook.

Vitali is an old man now, pushing 41. Statistically he is the same size as Fury and Helenius but the similarities end there. The only real chance he has of losing is via some sort of injury-related fiasco. Chisora, it seems, believes his best chances lie in waiting for Vitali to get tired. He talks about setting a fast pace that Klitschko can't live with. Arreola tried that and failed. But that was 3 years ago so who knows.

I fancy Vitali by a late rounds stoppage, probably after having to endure some of Chisora's bum-rushes early in the fight. He's going to have to take the sting out of Chisora who, unlike Adamek, is a legitimate heavyweight. I see the short counter left and the right uppercut being key. Crucially, and something that seems to never ever get mentioned, is that Vitali is one of the worlds very few natural counter-punchers. He spent almost the entire Arreola fight backing up. If he can do that here again, he wins easily.

Chisora is a pressure fighter with not much skill who doesnt hit hard enough to keep Vitali honest. Dont see it happening.

I don't think skill really matters vs Vitali. Lennox Lewis wasn't unskilled, neither was Chris Byrd, and they managed to win the sum total of three rounds out of 15 or so. Its not skill you beat Vitali with, its size, power, resilience and a just enough of skill and talent to make those factors tell. My advice to Chisora would be to attack blindly in the first round, see if he can get Vitali before he warms into the fight, maybe get into a clinch, stand on his foot, see if he can get him to topple over, pop a joint or a ligament. He needs to wail away and make it a dire struggle.

Chisora trying to force a fast pace and being aggressive is what will get him KO'd.

I see no way Vitali loses to this guy.

Lennox did, however, stop Vitali inside six rounds.

Yes, by having a blend of size, resilience, power and strength, and enough talent to impose those qualities.

Chisora lacks the size, power and skill.

Vitali will play Del-Boy like a puppet on strings. Del-Boy will come out all guns blazing and will fall into countless well timed counters as he misses the target with wild swings.

He didn't stop him inside 6 rounds, by the way.

And yes- he had the skill to implement his strength and strengths.

    Same thing.

Skill alone won't do it. Size alone won't do it. In other words, whilst Vitali might not be the messiah, he's a very very naughty boy.

Chisora slapped Vitali in the face at the weigh in and all hell broke loose.

I have yet to find a link of the weigh in.

I've just seen the slap, via sky sports news. Vitali didn't see it coming. It even rocked him

That's enraged Vitali now. He wants a fight now.

That was gay. Their foreheads touched each other so Vitali didn't have a chance to see it, and it was a hard slap. Chisora should get fined

Rocked him? Eh, that's a stretch. It was a good slap and Vitali wanted to go right after him. He looked pissed off. Chisora has now earned himself a real ass whooping. You do not piss off Vitali.

He was really surprised, then the surprise face turned to the "you are getting killed" face.
