Chelski 0-1 down to Birmingham and have also missed a pen (Mata).

    May their bad luck continue.

I put Hoolahan into my dream team and he didn't do too well, but he's talented imo.

Shiels eased past a few Rangers defenders and clinically placed the ball to goalkeeper Allan McGregor's right to give Killie thoughts of ending the day in the top half of the table.

Moments later, Killie's Liam Kelly won a telling tackle and set up striker Paul Heffernan, who blazed over the bar.

From the same village as me. :hammert:

What did you think about the Killie manager describing Ally as being like "Jesus sent down from heaven" ??? a bit Catholic that.

    FA CUP quarterfinals

    Liverpool/ Brighton winner v Stoke

    Tottenham/Stevenage winner v Botlon

    Birmingham/Chelsea winner v Leicester

    Everton v Sunderland

    __________

Notes: Everton have had seven cup ties scheduled this season. All at Goodison. We're 5-1 in cup ties this season. Guess which one I went to? :Steve-Dave/MMA:

Liverpool are playing the same teams they played in the league cup this season. Except they're playing them at Anfield instead of away.

    Liverpool 1-1 Brighton :TLC:

Btw, if Liverpool win, the QPR vs Liverpool game that's due to be played on paddies day will be rescheduled.

Disappointing stuff here from Liverpool. Get that early goal then fail to add to it. Not too pushed about this, would take a win next weekend and a proper run at 4th.

Liverpool fortunate to be in front. Brighton remind me a lot of Swansea in the Martinez days, solid footballing philosophy introduced by their manager, a welcome departure from the hoofball espoused by the recently departed Mick McCarthy or the much-loved gastropod that is Sam Allardyce.

Three own goals helped Liverpool overcome Brighton to coast into the FA Cup sixth round.

The Carling Cup finalists were stunned when Kazenga LuaLua's 25-yard effort cancelled out Martin Skrtel's opener.

But Liverpool, who now host Stoke, did not look back after Liam Bridcutt's own goal before Andy Carroll scored.

Further own goals by Bridcutt and Lewis Dunk made it 5-1, Luis Suarez completing the rout just minutes after missing a late penalty.

From the BBC. Fucking cants. :shit:

Everton will have to have two league matches rescheduled. The one that was supposed to be next weekend against Liverpool and the St. Paddy's Day game with Arsenal.

I'm thinking about taking a big risk and booking a stay in London for the FA Cup final. New Order is playing Brixton on 3 May, two days before. If we don't make the final we'll have a match up the road on the 5th at Wolves. With some luck maybe they'll reschedule one of those games for May 9, but I can't see them waiting until that late.

Hut, I want Celtic to join the EPL, I really do. The likes of Hooper and stokes would do great in our league, IMHO.
