Sure it would be a bunch of mediocore fighters fighting each other for the belts would probablly change hands a lot it would be a lot more exciting. The fights would be much more unpredictbable and watchable. I'm very tired of the Klitschko fights. You can't really get excited about them at all, it's like watching the same movie that you've already seen over and over and over again.
Agreed and disagreed. What creates interest to me in sports is two things: how competitive the event is, and the level of the competition. If one athlete or team is too far superior, it spoils the interest, as we are seeing now. But, a 100 run isn't interesting at all even if there were two equally good guys, neither of who can run under 12 seconds. Or two evenly matched scrub basketball teams can't produce anything worth seeing. So, if both Klitshkos retired now, it wouldn't make the division any more interesting right away since they have proved that the remaining bunch of guys is no match for them, so the interest would return only after some new guy takes over and the level rises. If Klitshkos had never existed, then the division would be much more exciting
Sorry to differ with you.........Gatti vs Ward was a fight between two of the lesser 140lb fighters of their era and it ran for three fights, and it features easily the worst pair of fighters every to make it into any trilogy debate. Gatti vs Drift Wood had the potential to be wildly exciting. The interest is there as much out of any desire to get shut of the Klitschkos and have the entire episode relegated to bad-memory status......Haye vs Chisora would do 20,000 and a few million {£} on PPV in England alone, because they buy that shit. Just not having the brothers in the division would make an awful lot of bottom feeders feel a bit better about things and encourage them to participate more with their wallets. Of course, it all comes down to subjective definitions of what "better" really is. There would be more interest, in that the average British or American punter might not be so quickly and repetitively "disappointed" with the outcome in proceedings, now that the Klitschkos are no longer involved. Personally, I would love it if Vitali retired and then spent the rest of his life showing up at press conferences starting fights and spitting at people.:shadow:
I couldn't disagree more. At least Vitali was good. Without Vitaliti the division would have no one. It would be better without Wlad for sure. Fuck that cocksucker. I think Chisora would stop Wlad. Vitali won yesterday because he is tough. Wlad is a cunt.
Wlad stops yeserdays Chisora. Vitali didnt have the pop to keep him honest. Wlad would catch him coming in wildly quite easily. Repeat of Brewster and Peter 2. Vitali won because he is tough? That makes no sense because he took no punishment. Vitali won because he boxed that savages ears off.
Divisions don't become better when the only one and a half fighters worth a shit are removed from them
