We know Haye hates the physical give-and-take of a contest. He's a pot-shotter, he relies on getting in and getting out. He's never stood with any man he's ever fought. This was done-to-death in the build up to Wlad, so I won't re-hash it all again. He would rely on timing Dereck and hoping he can run off without getting hit back. Chisora would have to be a bit lighter, and throw more jabs again, but he could do it, and Haye's energy bar would be running down. It would be a classic Haye-early-Chisora-Late sort of fight. By late I mean anytime after the 2nd round.
LOL. Yea, I only saw him with the mic too. I think he took his jacket off aswell. I think Booth wanted to believe that Chisora was the one who bottled him. Think he was a little out of it. I'm seriously annoyed at Haye. He really had no right to be there. He had no right to interfere. He wanted to be mr centre of attention, yet again. He drew all the attention away from the fight that took place. The presser should have focused on what happened in the ring that night. Haye should have been escorted away from the presser by security once he started to run his mouth.
Chisora has better stamina than Haye. If Chisora can avoid getting timed early doors then the fights his.
Yep. Once Haye starts to blow, as he does vs pressure, volume fighters, the pop in his right hand decreases and he begins to faff and huff and puff.
"i am going to physically shoot him" ranks among the all-time best press conference threats, up there with tyson's "i'll fuck you 'til you love me".
Is that grounds enough for the firearms squad to search Chisora's pad for illegal firearms and the potential murder weapon?
The phoney moral outrage over this is getting a bit much. 'I'm shocked and appalled! Dismayed to my marrow I tells you that two men would get into rowdy fisticuffs like this. Surely this isn't what boxing is about at all' - Mr Joe Boxing Suit, speedboat paid for by other men punching each other unconscious
No? I saw bottles of Warsteiner on the desk and even a fridge full of Warsteiner where the scuffle ensued?
Some of my favourite quotes: Chisora to random black-guy as he made his way to Haye: "Stay there, stand behind me." Adam Booth to Bernd Boente: "Bernd - you are a liar and a bitch" Vitali Klitschko: (no quote, just that smiling, bemused look on his face) Chisora to Booth: "You tell him: his entourage has got nothing on my entourage. I'm going to find him" And as for the last quote, where exactly was Haye during the early hours of Sunday morning? Not at his hotel, not at the aiport, not at Colditz Castle....no-one could find him and still can't by all accounts. ::
Where have all these new arrivals come from? Shoeshiner, Dark Magus etc? It's weird around these parts, we haven't really had a new member since MTF. BTW Hut, I agree people are going OTT about the brawl, what they should be focusing on is Chisora's vile, spitting antics. What a cunt.
Wasn't that his trainer Don Charles? :dunno: It seemed like Charles gave a good account of himself when he traded blows with Haye
I think the fact that Haye smashed a bottle across Chisora's face, and blindly swung a camera tripod with the intent of causing severe damage, is what makes the difference,.. Chisora is a piece of shit for his antics before the brawl,.. but the press conference was Haye's time to shine,.. the insufferable cunt.
No, Don had gone ahead of Chisora at that point and was wearing the red tracksuit and cap...this other guy just had a white shirt and was standing there, and tried to stop Delboy from advancing toward Haye...
What you say is true- and it is in part derived from other phoney moral outrages, such as the phoney moral outrage which followed when Mestizo-Negro Suarez, £100,000 per week, insulted Franco-Negro Evra, £120,000 per week. Kevin Mitchell, of the Guardian, is trying to make out that Haye and Chisora are minor celebrities who live in a sort of la-la land, where the rules don't apply. Irrespective of why they did it, or the phoney outrage which followed, there is a point to be made that boxing walks a narrow plank, at he bottom of which are no end of crocodiles waiting to snap it in two. Its the only sport that walks this plank. Soccer can survive anything. Match fixing, bent politicians, rampant cheating, nandrolone scandals, you name it. Guy gets his leg snapped like a bread-stick, playing keepy-uppy-ball? No problem. Guy gets hospitalized in a fight? We need to "ban boxing". Being honest, the sight of two black boxers, both of whom had lost to the two white boxers present, rolling around Pell-Mell, much to the entertainment of Bernd Hydrich and the Master Race probably hasn't gone down too well at all back in Blighty. People being glassed, cut up, roaring obscenities at one another, , slapping, spitting, bandana-wearing,multiple threats of shooting{Operation Trident, stop-and-search :dunno:} with Chisora being detained, and Haye still-at-large.....not good. I'd say there are some very very very fucked off people at the BBBofC as of last Saturday night. Then there is the broader political aspect- the run up to the Olympics, Britains general image etc. I'm not concerned about Gareth "A for Arts" Davies getting all upset, or the usual Sky Bums who roll in behind these things, nor for that matter does Steve Bunce get a pass for trying to pass it all off as being "A bit sexy", "shake those boring Germans up" etc. It's not the end of the World, but you need not look any further than a clearly spent Don Charles, at the end of his tether, nor need you look any further than Chisoras first professional coach going on Boxnation on Friday at 7pm and saying that the slap-incident was the sort of thing that made him cut his professional relations with Dereck in the first place. Talk of life-bans, jail-sentences etc is bollox, but.......by that same token, you need some decorum in a sport which walks, perennially, the thinnest of thin lines.
Don Charles doesn't like Haye, but neither Charles nor Chisora used a tool. The only tooled-up one was Haye, who, perhaps having learned from previous outings in Germania, had tooled-up especially for the occasion. The only person who got hurt was Booth. Haye really needs a new career.
The quill from the breast of a pheonix Irishman,.. a lovely melody with some tantalising interludes,.. I bop the head surrendering to your flow of urban ryhmez,.. but what is your contention, regarding the subtle difference it is alleged, between bone and flesh on one hand,.. and glass and metal on the other?.. :nono:
I don't think anyone disagrees that's precisely how Chisora behaved. What most (including myself) are saying is, Haye's vaginal behavior was substantially worse than Chisora's.
Haye and Chisora are going to make a lot of money fighting each other over this. In the end, they will be Charlie Sheening and we will be not.
:giggle::giggle:TRUE. To be fair, it may have cost his brother millions had he punched him. That being said. I believe if they had been in a locker room with no cameras and Chisora made Wlad''s girlfriend swall his load in front of Wlad he may of just stared at him too. I can't wait to see Wladopuss unconscious again.
