Michael is coming off two impressive one punch knock outs. His KO of Botha was very impressive. Michael just took his time, time and about 1000 right hands from Botha and then with 20 seconds left knocked him out with one punch. Talk about waiting till the last minute! What's in store to the ring magazine cover boy ? He is one or two wins away from fighting the Klitschkos (Whom he whooped back in the day in sparring). Who should he fight ? I would match him up with Monte Barrett or David Tua. After that it's a title shot. The fight would sell easily. The American hero versus the evil Ukranian. Who wouldn't pay to watch that ?

Mike Grant got the Jeffries treatment after the Lewis fight. They really turned on him.

I think fat Solis would break him down. I was surprised really surprised how easily Botha handled Mike for 11.9 rounds. Whatever they do they should keep him away from Arreola. Arreola would waste him.

Poor Fransie never won the big one. Okay he beat Schulz but that was some steroid-infused whiteboy supremacy in Germany for a splinter belt. A Boer vs a Kraut it doesn't get any whiter. Fuck in a snowstorm it wouldn't get any whiter. Thankfully Fatty Franzie failed his test and the belt went back to its rightful owner, Evander, sorry, Evans Fields.

    Michael Grant STILL Sucks...

Dominick Guinn PERMANENTLY Removed what Remained of Grant's "Relevance", Nearly a Fucking DECADE Ago...He's a KO WAITING to Happen...Some Fighters have GOOD Handspeed, Others have GOOD Stamina, Power, Defense, etc...

Grant is GOOD @ Getting Knocked the Fuck Out, & He Does So SPECTACULARLY...

Imagine Being Such a MENTALfuckingMIDGET that Not Only Do you Manage to Lose to Grant, you QUIT w/a Decisive Lead???...

Grant is a former contender for the heavyweight title. I can't believe he is being turned on like this. By his own fans.

Ya Golota blew that one for sure! Almost as bad as getting dominated from pillar to post and then KTFO by the older than himself and all time great Glen Johnson.

Grant broke through with a big right hand and Golota went down. I am not sure that Golota positively quit, Neumanns recounting of that affair is not that clear. I got the impression that Golota neither said he wanted to continue nor said he didn't want to continue.

Grant vs Tyson Fury would be a good scrap. Two giant dudes who can't fight.

Fury can fight. He's just got zero or very very limited discipline.

There was another talented fighter called Doherty, who like Fury comes from an Irish traveler background. He was legitimately talented, fringe European title, and he disappeared to go and sell cars or run a scrap business.

Fury is going the same way. He's a genuinely big, strong, loose guy with very very good handspeed, solid ammy credentials, a decent chin, not granite but decent- and absolutely fuck all application to the game of boxing. His struggles vs Pajkec were down to a stupid thick approach to the fight. Zero focus, messing around, poor diet.

Its worth bearing in mind that, at least superficially*, he did as well vs Chisora as Vitali did. Fury would beat Grant if he was even half-prepared.

So what if he punched himself in the head. So did Judah, vs Tszyu.

No wonder black heavyweight boxing is dead. You guys should cling onto any great black hope you can get, just like the whites used to in the 80's early 90's back when black guys chose boxing over football and luckily for you whites accounting over boxing.

Roy wasn't shot Roy was just scared after his traumatizing knockout at the hands of daddy Tarver. Glen was older than Roy. If Roy was shot then you might as well call Glen "Vernon Christy Valero" because he was shot, stabbed and was only hanging around for a pay day .

Bernard Hopkins wasn't shot at 40, I guess that means Oscar De La Hoya still has a couple years of his prime left.

Roy was not the same after coming down from HW. He should have either stayed at HW or retired at that point.

I scored it for Tarver who landed lots of good flurries on the ropes. Roid only laded occasional body shots. If Roid won as easily as you guys say he did they`re be no need for excuses and rematch.

I don't know how to score a fight :atu:

I judged professional kangaroo fights back in '94 when I used to live down under. So don't even fuck with me. Google it. Kangaroo scoring sex scandal.

I already scored it for this fight round by round on here. I will try and find the thread. Tarver clearly won. I dare you to score it too and tell me how you see him winning the fight.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that the KO in the second fight has made the first fight closer in retrospect.

In addition, Tarver also got more credit in the first fight because he wasn't completely out-classed like almost all of Roy's previous opponents. And the fact that Roy made excuses for NOT completely blowing Tarver out made it seem even closer.

It was a close fight, but Roy CLEARY won.

How did this turn into a RJJ sux thread? It is just stupid to even mention Michael Grant in the same breath as Roy.
