To his credit my man Rogan had some good things to say about good old Fedor soon after.

I have been shutting off the commentary lately because the dickriding from these guys has gotten totally ridiculous. Yes, and going into the 5th round of the Edgar-Henderson fight he said "the take downs are about even".. After watching it again this morning I'd like to slap Goldberg across the face. Edgar landed more than double the take downs. Arghh....
Rogan and Goldberg both sounded like morons in the Shields fight. They should have made mention that Shields was boxing Sexyama's ears off. Yet all they talked about was how much better Akiyama looked at 170. The truth, which was clear to anyone watching, is that Akiyama looked horrible. He fought defensively, scared to death of being taken down and allowed Shields to out box him.

Dana isnt that stupid. Some of the biggest Stars in Japan werent Japanese. Just hold regular shows over there with top guys and you will have stars.

1 star? Nah. The Japanese are very knowledgable about the sport. Some of the biggest stars in Japan were not Japanese.
And who was their biggest star? Sakuraba? I guarantee you, if a Japenese breakout star were to emerge and claim the Lhw or Hw belt, the UFC wpuld gain a lot more Japanese fans.
THey have plenty of fans right now. They wouldnt be in Japan if they didnt. All they need to do is invest more time there, which is what they will be doing. If the UFC want a japanese star, go out and find one. Stop using the same assholes who always lose.
