Adrien Broner vs Eloy Perez

Yeah there's no doubt about that, Broner is more technically sound, much longer reach etc. And reach plus timing can go a LONG way to nullifying a speed advantage.

But Gamboa is offensively skilled, make no mistake. He looks reckless at times, but offensively he knows what he's doing.

 

Broner seems to have legit one punch power at 130 too. I'd love to see him fight Gamboa.

 

Yep, it's a fight I would much rather see than Gamboa Vs Rios tbh.

As I've said before Rios just seems too big, I'm hoping Rios being drained nullifies the size difference a bit, makes it a fairer fight.

 

Only a matter of time before Denzel starts showing up at Broners fights. Minute Denzel shows up at your fights, like he did at Kirk Johnson vs Vitali, then you know you are for real. I knew Vitali was for real that night. Spinks and Denzel were there shouting for Kirk. Thats when I knew Vitali was a real threat.

 

Gamboa has a big edge in talent/skill over Broner? I don't see it. And Broner is only 22 years old. Not even in his prime yet.

 

A big edge in talent I think yes. And though Broner is meant to be really skilled, his defense isn't up to much. He gets hit a lot. Against someone with the handspeed and firepower of Gamboa, I can see him getting lit up.

 

I see no reason to not expect another close fight that could easily favor De Leon.

Thats really debatable.

Gamboa has lots of speed and athleticism on his side. But I think Broner at 22 years old has shown us more versatility, better skills, and more upside. Broner isn't even in his prime yet. Gamboa is probably slightly past his prime, being that he's a fighter that relies alot on reflexes and athleticism. He's at that age now where reflex fighters start to slow down.

If he can beat Rios, I would love to see this fight.
