Not sure Hopskirt will want any part of him, after his last bad experience with a Welshman- and a White one at that. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/feb/26/nathan-cleverly-hopkins-tommy-karpency?intcmp=239 • Millennium Stadium mooted as venue by Frank Warren • 'Hopkins is the main guy in the division,' says Cleverly Cleverly is just the man to retire the old racist bastard once and for all. Tall, angular, White and Welsh, with a high-activity rate he has all the qualities to bring the old racist bastard out in a rash. Nathan-Dogg Has To Regulate
Yes, it does- the race to the top is the race to the bottom, fry to death, freeze to death, who is counting bro??? If it makes money it makes sense. Motion creates emotion. Bernard "The Pensioncutioner" Hopkins......he has Denzel and the boys behind him...Men of Harlech, stand ye ready.
If Cleverly wins, you'll be attacked by gimps. If Hopkins wins, you'll be attacked by gimps. Bring back the colour-line.
Well I think globally broadcasted racist outbursts from a 'legendary' ambassador of the sport, hurts boxing far worse than a press conference brawl. The most healthy outcome is if Dawson, a black fighter, puts the cunt in a coma. Problem solved.
Not even mother goose can peck the path of your eerily exciteable and sudden enthusiasm for this piece of the pink pidgeon perce....wtf?... :jaw: where did Cleverly come from?.. I thought his performances confirmed that he was safely white?...and it turns out there WAS more to this Karpentry thing than you've been leading on.. :dunno: ,... 'Karp, karp, karpy,..das dey one, das dey one... :scared: whats this mysterious little concoction about, and what do you have planned...?
Oh nothing- I just think that Nathan might move his hands and bring old Bernie out in a rash like the last taff that did so.
Ahhh come now,.. who are we kidding. Calzaghe had some of that genetical 'Latin heat' coursing through his veins along with a lil somethin' somethin' to counteract Hopkins chemical life-support,.. which is more than fare enough. Cleverly is a South-Welshman,.. South Wales is probably even less potent in mediterranean twitch meats than the Cornwalleeezes, no 'real' fighter is capable of coming out of the UK,.. unless along the way, the maternal swiveller has snagged a tail hook worth of guppies on it's line wind through Europe. :nono: Great fighters aren't called 'Smith' my toke.
We'll see. Tavoris Cumulus doesn't look too stratospheric right now. I can see that oik being tempted to come to London, where he can lose his shirt, squak at the decision and count his money all the way back to Merrica.
What happened to Chris Henry? Guy hasn't fought since his coming out party against Garay two years ago. He done?
He is training at Hank's Gym in Houston at present, former middleweight champion Frank Tate is one of the trainers there. Most no one wants to fight him, and when he has gotten offers for instance from Ismayl Sillakh's people, the offer is ridiculously low, won't even cover training expenses and the people want unreasonable options. He looks good and is ready, but had a fight on the 17th fall through, and Tavoris Cloud/Don King has turned him down multiple times, so I do not know what his future holds. I do know this: He isn't getting any younger.
Cheers. Big fan of Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon. Lalo Schifrin wrote some great themes- Bullitt and ETD are a few of my all-time favourites.
Stinger's always had good things to say about Cleverly to be fair. I have to admit my initial enthusiasm has waned somewhat, as he's moved up levels (and hardly giant strides) he's not been nearly as effective. I didn't see his last fight, but he got shook pretty bad on the DeGale-Ginger Cunt undercard, and looked cack against that French spoiler and Bellew (who I've never rated). Maybe a big test of some sort will bring out the best again, but whilst he is a bit of a diet Calzaghe, it seems alot easier to discourage him from throwing combinations than it did Joe.
Cleverly needs seasoning- he's made one giant stride in getting away from the midget-fiddler in Enzo Sr- now he needs another one to get away from Frank the Downer.
I will when I see him next. He's not doing himself any favors by not fighting, though. Cleverly will beat him now barring getting hit a lucky shot as Henry is so ring rusty.
He should just fight some cans to stay busy. I never understood boxers who sit out forever waiting for a fight. Guys need to stay busy.
