Haye claims Vitali deal, Boente denies claims

Haye has spoken.....yet again, saying on twitter that an agreement has been made for him to be Vitali's next opponent. This is what Haye had to say via twitter;

"Vitali has just finally agreed to fight me in a live RTL interview. He told me I will be his next fight. Let's get ready to rumble." :l1:


But of course, Vitali's manager...yet again, has denied that any sort of agreement has been made.

I don't. He needs it because he's got nowhere else to go and was expected to destroy Peterson in the first instance. Peterson did the right thing and stood his ground and now can expect to earn handsomely. For once, an American fighter hasn't shot his load in excitement when it comes to negotiating with a superior power. Had Khan gotten a razor thin decision the first time, he would have wanted nothing to do with Peterson ever again.

The honourable thing for Khan to do would have been to nap back to Britain and clean out 140 and beat Kell Brook or Matthew Hatton, then pop back to America.

But Khan is all about money and right now thats where the money is for 140lbrs and 147lbrs. And remember, he was trying to get the result voided and what-not with his twitter rants and his photos of this guy and that guy.

Bottom line is ANY Wincobank fighter is a nightmare. Ryan Rhodes, all crack-headed and ancient, was able to go over and basically go 12 rounds with Canelo, no problem. Johnny Nelson could probably come out of retirement and go 7 or 8 rounds with the best Cruiser in Britain.......its all down the styles.

Brook would give Khan fits, I am sure of it.

 

Maybe so, but there's no clamour for that fight. Brook has no real profile here or abroad, it's not that he couldn't beat Khan, but he has to try and get himself into the spotlight and actually beat someone. That someone isn't Matthew Hatton either ::. Till then, Khan has nothing to prove against him.

 

Khan would be nipping it in the bud if he did beat the winner of that fight. My point is that he isn't interested in nipping things in the bud because he's not about being a fighter who is remembered- he is about making money, then retiring to pollute our airwaves with his bat-eared presence. Sky is unwatchable as it is with Glenn "Coal-Man" McCrory and Barry "Poisoned Midget" McGuigan, and Johnny "Flotsom" Nelson, but it would get even worse with Tomato Khan on it, toeing the line and agreeing with the broad consensus.
