You're confusing ESTABLISHMENT with ESTABLISHED. It's acceptable to be a Duran or Charles fan to that extent, because they are two of the most proven fighters in the history of the sport.

I personally think Floyd Mayweather Jr is the greatest fighter of our generation and it is a joy to watch him perform in the ring. But I understand people's frustrations with him, especially wrt the Pacquiao fight. I know Pac is a little bitch, but he has a reason to be - Floyd would kick the shit out of him and he knows it. What's Floyd's reason for being a bitch?

I honestly don't think he's a coward - he is truly too arrogant to think he could lose - I just think he's immature and doesn't give a rat's ass about his fans. "Like I said before," what really illustrates that point to me well is his refusal to be in the EA Sports Fight Night series, because EA won't pay him enough. There are a shitload of boxers in that game who are more famous than he is, but they don't have ridiculous demands because they understand that this is something they're doing for fun, for the fans. Floyd doesn't care about doing anything for the fans.

The whole retiring/fighting once every two years thing is part and parcel of all of this as well.

At the end of the day, he's the one who steps between the ropes and has to fight the guy in the other corner, so it's all his prerogative. But by the way he's handling things, he's making a choice where he takes himself out of the conversation when discussing fighters like Duran, Charles, Leonard, Hearns, et al. He is one of the most talented fighters ever, no doubt. But being an all-time great is about more than being talented, it's about being proven AND proving yourself throughout your career. Boxing fans can be unfair when judging his resume, especially at lower weights. But there's one fight that would fix everything, and there's no excuse for it not taking place anymore. He either gives Pac 50/50 and kicks his ass - and we all know he would - or his legacy is tarnished forever. He's already 35. Not much time left..

I largely agree with this post, although I do think that PBF is scared/ insecure of fighting Manny in a sense, but I'm not interested in debating that right now.
I'm interested in knowing whether you think that Pac is currently being a "litle bitch". Form what I can gather, he has agreed to the drug tests but wants a 50/50 split. Doesn't seem like a bitch-move to me.
