    Just an inkling on my part, but I think Oscar may have been initially been planning to announce a comeback, hence all the big build up etc, and then changed his mind, or had been talked out of it within the last few days.

    It's a small world. Even the dumbest fans know more than mainstream sports reporters who get paid to cover it.
