That's what I was afraid of. I remember watching Sky Sports and they were running a piece on how scalpers were charging a fortune for the semifinals at Wembley for tickets and fans were still so deperate to get in they were paying insane amounts. Last time I paid 60 pounds for a 34 pound ticket to watch Everton at White Hart Lane. Some lowlives were acting like Everton fans and hitting up the Scousers off the bus for away tickets. They scored some only to turn around and try to sell them to the real fans. I remember I was actually helping this one little old guy try to get an away ticket because he said he was an Everton fan. Found out later he was a tout. Wanted to cut his throat. :die:

One thing about the Premier League. It's very difficult to be a foreign fan and make plans around attending these matches. No open ticket sales and last minute changes to the fixtures. :crying:

Was he a small shrivelled up old scouser? I suppose he warned you of the mortal sin that is mis-sold financial insurance? Joe Mul's dad I'll bet it was.

Looking at about 400 quid for Celtic end tickets for Ibrox. I'm in two minds about scalpers - without them, there's no way back if you missed out. Even if they're low lives they do provide a service.

You're not some distant relative of the fat wayne lad by any chance, a bit of the name lost in immigration or the like?? Go and do the business today versus Spurs, Harry will wind up on hard drugs yet, I know it. Could be a double, Spurs vs Everton in the Cup Semi's? All-Liverpool final? This place might never recover :nono:

There'll be more coppers there than the battle of orgreave, the game itself will be fine. That night, less so.

Ricky "Fine Irishman" Burns is fighting tonight versus some guy from the Bible. Its on boxnation, be sure and check it out on a stream. I like Burns. Handsome fellow, too bad about that accident with the bottle of ink and the needles.

    I'm sorry Slice. I am.

But in all fairness, headlines such as "Blatter in QPR Relegation Storm" are a bit far-fetched.

The problem at QPR is as follows: you got like 40 players, and they get rid of a guy who is familiar with all of them, and bring in a guy who is familiar with none of them, and they expect to get results??

Anyways......the relegation race is going down to the wire.

Nothing is going our way, it's so fucking frustrating. No idea why we brought Hughes in either, as I said, he isn't better than Warnock in any way whatsoever. Two really fucking bad decisions though. FUCK IT.

I don't think he has been crap, especially the last time Argentina had no kind of tactic at all (as Maradona 'coached' them). Messi did what he could, but one man can't make up that much if there is no team on his side.

That being said, I do rank Maradona ahead of him. Maradona had more success in international games, and also he was even more dominating player on his era. However, if you compare them head-to-head, I think it is becoming obvious that Messi is even better as an individual. Messi dribbles at least as well, he is nearly impossible to tackle without fouling, he is faster (meaning it is easier to pass to him) and he scores more. Maradona perhaps saw the field a little better (he gave the more creative passes) but in his time teams didn't defend nearly as well as they do now, now the defending team gives a constant pressure to the ones who possess the ball and every time Messi touches the ball, three guys rush right at him. To do what he is doing in today's game is quite remarkable

They're both phenoms, it seems churlish to set them against each other. I might give it to Messi based on sheer prolificacy.

No, it is our duty as real sports fans to find out who's better and then mock and discriminate the crappy one

    The good news:

Everton have chased Man City, Chelsea, and Spurs out of Goodison in the last couple of months.

    The bad news;

I didn't earn one fucking point from it as I predicted draws in all three matches. :crying::TLC:

By my calculations you got 4/6. 9Missed Wolves and the Liverpool/Sunderland draw.)

But that's still better than everyone else.

Two people got 1/6, two got 2/6, and one person got 3/6.

Cheers. I just need to keep this up, would be delighted with third. We are going to have a Euro draw, Salaco won the World Cup one two years ago.
