    Name some boxers from the place you were born, or where you consider "home". If you're from a major city youll have to name the district/borough/region rather than the entire city. I'll start:

    Hammersmith:

    Frank Bruno
    Joe Calzaghe (born here, then moved to Wales)
    James DeGale
    George Groves (unfortunately)

    Nah, all over. Benny Lynch was from just over the river in govan. The only famous people I know of from Partick are Billy Connolly and the underappreciated Tosh McKinnly. :bears:

    I think they were on Marion Ave. by then, so maybe a dozen blocks from Botanical Gardens

    but as a slow, extremely fair-skinned Celt I would have been 0-25 with 25 first-round losses due to an limitless variety of cuts and would thus be in no position to warrant any type of mention in this thread
