Prokska got a lot of attention after beating Sylvester down. He seems to be managed badly though, he should be fighting better competition.

He eats boiled turnip and pickled fish washed down with vodka before a fight, and for every other meal.

His Grandfather had a promising career. Then the Germans invaded.

    Get him in HBO NOW.

Ya Proksa should move to the states. I bet if he had a couple good showings against B level competition he would get a shot on HBO or SHOWTIME and take his popularity to the next level.

I agree it was a shit decision. I had it closer than you - I think 115-112 for Proksa, but the fact is that he had a panic attack the moment he suffered the 2nd round cut.

Hope - while willing - did absolutely nothing in the final three rounds, pretty tough to justify his coming out ahead.

That said, Proksa was lucky to be in there against a featherfist like Hope. He's honestly not much at all and gets lit up by the first decent fighter w/ some pop.

For those asking on Fonfara - he's basicallly Wlodarczyk-lite, and is even used as a sparring partner in that capacity (most notably Danny Green). Decent fighter, improved since moving up to 175 (stamina and punch resistance in particular). Could make a run, though perhaps a bit of a long shot.

Proska basically fought as dumb as he could have and still made a very decent fist of it, pardon the pun. This Hope guy was just moving his hands, all the quality was coming from Proska. Proska is nothing much. He's way too small to be a middleweight. He looks like he could make 154 with no trouble at all. He is no Pirog.

Fonfara looks useful, but thats about it. Mitchell isn't much of a test these days in any case.

Proska has an unusual fighting style. He's funny.

He is one of these guys who thinks he can make his opponent miss at will. Well he can't

Who wins. Quigg or Frampton ???

  27. Irish

Not sold on either of them, especially Frampton, who fought an utter scrub last night. Frampton fights in a style I traditionally regard as suspect- squat, muscular, powerful. I prefer smooth, active, variety. He'd beat Kiko Martinez but a long armed volume dude with a bit of mojo might well chop him into wee dicey bits.

I've just seen the frampton fight. I could tell from the first few exchanges that once he got close he would take him out. Poor opponent tbh.

How abouts did you watch last night's fights?... Seeing as there was an Irishman involved, a national treasure, I assume they broadcasted the hope, or was there a pence involved, given the rich need a top up?..

Online stream. I wouldn't pay money even to see the Greek lose. There was no pence involved, let me assure you sir. Lost a few hours of sleep, but that was about the size of it.
