    Good Observation...

When he ENTERED the Pro Game, Andre Ward (Along w/Andre Dirrell) was Roy Jones LITE...& he had Close Calls, Scares & a Legitimate Knockdown Scored Against him, Against Lower Level Fighters...

But Since he Began Competing @ a World Class Level, Ward's Learned that he ISN'T Roy Jones & has MORPHED into More of a Latter Days Bernard Hopkins Style of Fighting...OLD MAN BHop, if you Will...

Andre Ward just dominated the super 6 tournament where he faced different syles

you claim he won because he clinched? he was more skilled, and was smarter than all his oponnents. That was the difference.

He has had fights in the past where he clinched or even fought dirty. But some of you act like he does it in every fight and like that's the difference between winning and losing for him.

Ward is a complete fighter. The only knock on him is his power. but he just showed he doesn't need it to beat the best in his division.

I swear Ward is still underrated!

I'm with outlander. I've been tired of the incessant holding for years and find it infuriating when a fighter is allowed to rest, neutralize his opponents' offense, control the pace and otherwise exploit illegal holding to gaiin an unfair advantage. I like gys like Cotto, Pacquiao, Morales and even Pbf who can handle themselves in the ring.

Watch Hopkins fight and you'll see how pathetic it is. He was actually latched onto Dawson's back when he was shoved. How else should Dawson, a guy who doesn't hold, deal with wrestling like that?

huh? don't be coherent or anything. Your position, if made clear, might actually come under scrutiny. Personal feelings on contraception - that's the topic that needs discussed.

I agree, but at least Hopkins has an excuse. He's like 900 years old, and he never fought that way in his prime.

I stopped reading here. If you think someone throwing 500 powder puff punches per round is a decent style, Joe Calzaghe and Oscar Larios must be your heroes. Personally, I can't stand that shit. The Calzaghe comparison is unfair actually, PWill made Calzaghe look like Julian Jackson.

I AM being rather supportive of your push for regulation,...I do believe in the broader public interest Double L,... :crafty: ..but it just sounds so suspiciously left-wing to me?...

Martinez is OK, he's no Andre The Pliant, but a large part of his routine is based on hoodwinking average fighters into holding their hands, allowing him to take a breather and dictate the pace.

I disagree. Depending on the oppponent, Hopkins has been holding and hitting for more than a decade.

A few feints oughta do the trick, it'll have him taking off like a squid, .. and you'll have to score it for the one who came forwards without landing a punch, opposed to the one who went backwards and never landed a punch.

    On the up.

Macklin lacks Slick City Urban Mojo {S*C*U*M} it's pretty evident to me that "Old School" and "Urban" would defeat him. And in short bloody order at that sire.

I wonder if the Katsidis family and the Martinez family are related.

Katsidis is one of those fake shoisters like 'Irish americans' who pop up on the right day for the right circumstances when really, he's been a cultureless redneck his entire life. After he found out he wasn't recieving enough revenue from the half mill Greek pop here, ....he donned a cork string hat, hoola hooped into a blue wife-beater, applied cricket zinc, and dressed in cronulla warrior attire to see if that would patronise an outburst of cash.

    Conclusion?

No capitalism for you my broken son :bears:

p.s: Uh uh uh uh uh,...[IMG],.. let a best kept secret trickle, like a vicious austerity measure,... subtle, subtle.
