Are most American cage fighting fans white trash?

I'd estimate around 90-percent of cage fighting fans in Canada are white trash. Are the numbers similar in the US?

I think when MMA hit the states with UFC 1, many were of the uneducated sort . I think as the sport grew, embodied weight classes and unified rules were enforced the education level of the viewer grew. I think the fact that you see Hollywood, professional athletes, etc at the live events shows how far mainstream the sport has progressed. The ability to pull in major sponsors like Bud Light is another indication that the sports fan demographic is growing as well. Most sponsors wouldn't touch the early UFC's with a ten foot pole.

As far as Canada, I would say the fan base is the same as the fans of hockey who get all pissed off at the new concussion rules, call guys pussies for wearing helmets, and even bigger cunts for putting a face shield on that helmet, and think every team needs a "Goon".:egypt:

I don't live in Canada, Steve, but I follow hockey. Do you disagree that there aren't these types of hockey fans in Canada? Not all hockey fans, of course.
