PBF already planning more mismatches...

PBF recently said he wants six more fights (five not including Cotto). However, in keeping with much of his reign at welter, he made it clear his remaining fights would not all be against strong champions, saying, "I'm getting older, you know what I'm saying."

Apparently, PBF isn't comfortable with taking on the best in the sport and is prepping the public for what will likely be a string of mismatches designed most of all to get our money and further his overratedness.

What's your source for this? Did he explicitly say he would be fighting weak guys, or is that something you decided?

Says all of his fights won't be against strong champions. Which is fine/acceptable, as long as one of them is Pacquiao. One of them being Martinez would be a plus too

Anyone who believes Floyd is going to seek out challenges at this point in his career is seriously dreaming.

  11. Dude is almost 37. He should beat Cotto try Pacquiao and then retire.

He just turned 35 in February. Is adding 2 years to his age a new Floyd fan tactic?

Yeah but look at his rough schedule the last few years. That Ortiz fight alone must have taken years off him.

He is actually a 37-year fighter but he came down to 34 to meet Ortiz at catch-age. Expect him to return to his normal division

Floyd will start asking for a 2 round handicap during contract negotiations, based on his advanced age.

He's committed to having six more fights. Just not against good competition. But all on PPV.

If he's not going to take on "strong champions," he should retire in my opinion. But at the very least, his ranking should reflect that he's retired into fleece mode.

Mind you, it's very likely PBF considers Ortiz and JMM to be strong champions.

Somehow or other, pbf still fancies himself a 130 pounder. I will not be surprised one bit when he signs to fight Guerrero or even Morales.

Remember. PBF has placed so much importance on his undefeatedness, he's painted himself into a corner where he simply can't abide chancing a loss. His solution apparently will be to no longer compete in a real sense.

What fighter does that? Trails off his career by fighting anything but the best?

It'd be pretty sweet if Floyd got murdered in prison.
