I blew up to 195 in the last 2 months. Ridiculous. I was feasting on Roti and Curry, Apple Pie, Donuts, Milkshakes. All definition has gone and belly is big. I look 10 years older.

I "woke up" last Friday and said "THIS IS BULLSHIT"!

I'm radical. Drastic changes since Friday.

    I only drink water
I've cut out Carbs, COMPLETELY. Meat and Vegetables/Salad ONLY for the next 2 months.
Maintaining my 3 day a week gym routine (Incline/decline/flat bench...crunches, chin ups, curls, shrugs) but also going to incorporate some football (soccer) for cardio.

I plan to lose 30 motherfucking pounds in the next 2 months. Get ripped again.

    I'm a man on a mission.....

Sounds like a challenge. I'll do something similar and monitor my progress for the next two months. Let's rock, sly!

I'm actually in the same boat Sly. Only my goal is 175, instead of 165. Like you though, I woke up the other day at 195 and said fuck this!

Good luck to the both of us.

Can I jump on the bandwagon?
195 down to 165 is some serious target...I'm 210, want to get down to 190 which I did 2 years ago, but I did zero weights, only cardio and although I was slimmer, I had same bodyshape.

Well, I'm gonna start doing windsprints in addition to my 5km daily. Time to cut out the beer, bread, and pasta. Let's do this! :Ramonza:

Buddy...why not start doing some HIIT?
It works like a fucker...much better than relentless, one-paced runs.

I'm re-booting my training tonight. I had 10 days off because I couldnt be bothered but the Spring is here, its sunny and Im ready.
I'm doing two days on, one day off (cardio/weights)

    So, tonight will be:
    • Rope-jumping: 3 x 2 mins
    • Push-ups: 5 x 15 reps
    • Abdominal-crunches (lower/upper/obliques): 5 x 25
    • Running: 4.8km / 3 miles

If I can get the running to under 27:00, it should total about 45 mins.

How is it going everyone? T&T, Bud, X, LOK? :fightme:

The long distance running helps me clear my head, but I will give HIIT a shot.

By the way I'm making GREAT progress. I'm on track. My body has gotten used to the drastically reduced carb intake (no bread, rice, potatoes or pasta) and only drinking water. I see the change in my face this morning and I'm beginnning to see signs of definition. I should be able to reach my goal by June 1st.

I don't plan to be 165 until I'm on my death bed.. Last time I was that low I looked like I caught cancer..

Q185-175 at the lowest is good for me

    I hear you.

Truthfully...I'm ripped at 175lbs. I may not be able to get to 165lbs...but I certainly want to get to 170 at the least. At 165lbs there wont be an ounce of fat visible on my body. I'd be ridiculously cut...so that's my goal for the summer.

I just ran 7km. I feel pretty good and it's pretty much a daily thing now. Between that, the ropeclimbing, axethrowing, and woodcutting, I'm outdoors for hours each day, breathing in the fresh spring air! :rock1:

I haven't checked my weight, but I'm seeing teh results. I've been going hardcore. Stomach has almost flattened down, still have too much love handles. Body definition is still lacking but huge progress from three weeks agao.

Aw c'mon, when the old curmudgeon says stuff like that, we're just supposed to smile and laugh, which is also what we do when we realize he gums his food and his women.
