Full trailer debuts online this Sunday April 1st.

"Total Recall' starring Collin Farrell as Douglas Quaid is more a reinterpretation of author Phillip K. Dick's "We can Remember It For You Wholesale" than an actual remake of the Ahnuld scifi film. The film also stars Kate Beckinsale as Quaid's wife.

    Weird.
I remember going to see this for the first time Australia of all places when it first opened in 1991.
(I mean, I was IN Australia at the time, I didnt fly there specifically)

It was typical Schwarzaneggar fayre...but I hope this version does well...I dont mind Farrell and Beckinsale is smoking.
But I doubt Colin can better: "Scruuuuuuu....yuuuuuu...Benny!!!"

The original was bad ass. I wish this was sequal instead of a remake.

I have no problem with new filming of a book, for example it would be cool if someone filmed Run Or Die again, as the Arnold movie had little to do with the actual book. Remakes of films is usually pointless and stupid

I agree. Although I did enjoy TR I'd much prefer a remake of a different story then a remake of a film that has already been done. I hate when a remake has no originality and you already know what to expect as in the so called Thing prequel. Although that was a fairly entertaining film in its own right it brought absolutely nothing new to the table and in that vein was a disappointment.
