Clip looked pretty boring, TBH. Plus it's the end of the episode. Not sure how much better the rest is, but not a segment I'm dying to see (or the 24/7 series surrounding the fight)

    agREED.

The 24/7 for this should be 2 weeks...TOPS. We know everything we need to know about both guys.

Cotto overall is boring "HOWEVER" the first episode of the 24/7 with Margarito was the best ever episode...his talking about his dad's death. Nothing will top that.

You're such a groupie. Why do you know Floyd's gonna bring it? Because of the ODH fight or the JMM fight?

  6. steve_dave

    steve_dave Hard As Fuck

Because he's barely taken a backwards step in his last two fights probably.

IMO floyd will walk him down and destroy him

FLoyd has become more of a stalker and less of a dancer.. Floyd's power is better than people think and he is going to stop cotto i bet

Sly acts like Mayweather is a KO artist and Cotto is a bitch.

Not that I think Cotto will win, you can't really pick against Floyd in this fight, but Cotto will last the distance I think.

It's really up to Cotto and how badly he wants to win, IMO.

Cotto is too slow, has too short of a reach and punches too wide to beat Floyd. Floyd will pick him apart.

  12. Because of the recent trend (as he gets older): Mosley or the Ortiz fight.

    Wanker! :wack:

    You and Steve_Dave are legends.

  15. No. Styles. Cotto is relatively soft and Floyd is hard as fuck! Toe to toe and Cotto gets destroyed.

  16. Word.

It could get ugly. Cotto's only chance is a hail mary body shot.

I agree. I predict PBF will win but many here are going to be surprised on how competitive it will be.

He did not bring it in those fights groupie. And we all know the only reason for the ko was the sucker punch.

That's some good, original material there Muzse.

  23. Floyd didn't "bring it" against Shane Mosley?

  24. *Z*

He brought it all the way to a decision.

Who has knocked Mosley out? Mosley stopped fighting pretty early in that fight.

  26. word. Mosley is tough as nails.

Floyd was the one advancing throughout that fight, including the round in which Shane hurt him in.

Who has Floyd knocked out that is as good as Cotto?

I'll take a sig bet for Cotto lasting the distance.

Who answers a question with a question?

I expect the fight to go the distance, personally. I figure around the 5th or 6th Cotto starts moving around, no longer trying to win rounds.

Not to mention patient. That's a key factor in why I always thought Floyd would beat Cotto fairly easily.

If you give Floyd room and time to think, he's in his element, and he'll just pick you off. Especially if you are slower and have shorter arms.

I'm still undecided on whether Floyd stops Cotto, but it's certainly a possibility. Kind of depends on Cotto I guess, how content he is to clam up a bit and last the distance.
