    Is this show any good?

I heard the original Danish one is awesome, but I can't find that one.

If you're patient, it's pretty good. Acting is top notch, but the story is a bit tedious and convoluted.

If you like having all your loose ends wrapped up CSI style, don't watch it, because it will drive you crazy.

It's the Twin Peaks of Police Procedurals, without all the crazy nonsense.

The entire series is planned around a single killing. So don't expect them to solve shit for a long time, but they do uncover lots of plots and conspiracies in the mean time.

It screams Twin Peaks clone, even using some of the same damn shots and everything, but ultimately it's fairly different, and obviously based on the Danish one.

It's a good show, very watchable, but the Danish one is quite a bit better.

    Forbedryselhausen!

Not really. It's a lot slower paced then any episode of Lost.

I would say it's more about the fall-out from the killing, then the actual killing itself.

Sort of like "Twin Peaks", "Who Killed Laura Palmer?". Without the creepy David Lynch stuff.

The killer is just the red herring. It really doesn't matter who the killer is. It's just a means to the end in opening up other possibilities in the plot.
