Who did Rios beat that puts him several levels above Maidana? That's crazy talk. Maidana has fought better guys.

Not surprising. Against Murray, he looked like someone who really, really shouldn't be trying to make lightweight again.

Eskeleto rios came back an hour later and weighed 139. I may have to put some loot on abril at 5-1.

He is a vicious eater as well. The guy should fight at 140. Just how Dumb is HBO? The guy dies trying to make weight in his last fight and then HBO puts him on a ppv at the very same weight. I watch an HBO special on Rios and half of it was him saying he couldn't make 135 ever again 6 months ago. The guy will have a shorter prime than Vargas. Not only is he a scrub, but he is killing himself to make weight and he takes a beating in all of his fights.

everyone is complaining about gamboa backing out of the fight. as it turns out he would have moved up from featherweight to lightweight to face a jr. welter. abril gets an extra 22Gs but really had no leverage after rios pulled a castillo. to top it off rios doesnt have to weigh in again in the morning and can come in 150+ lbs no problem
