Mayweather may weather Cotto's early attacks and pick Cotto apart but let's hope for the best and let's hope Cotto's pressure will be enough to give mayweather his first official and his second unofficial loss. Mayweather losing would be great because 1. It would put an end to the retarded pipe dream of mayweather/pacquiao. 2.It would shut Sly the fuck up. 3. Cotto has a promising first round, but PBF starts to find him consistently with RH's after the 3rd. From the 4-5th, it's a beatdown. PBF will be walking Cotto down, thudding lead RH's and LH to his head. Cotto will attempt to go to the body but will consistently find PBF's arms & his PBF's forearm in his throat.

Cotto's cnr threatens to stop it at the end of the 8th & Cotto doesn't answer the ball for the 10th.

 

I have Mayweather winning via UD. However just like Diaz mentioned in 24/7 The Invincible man only exist in movies!

Other people will realize that styles favored PBF and that Cotto wasn't nearly as good as when he was seen as a legit threat to PBF, while in Sly's mind this will prove without any doubt that Floyd has never ducked anyone and that he'd handle Marvin Hagler just as easily

I think he'll have Cotto hurt a few times and might even floor him late. But I don't see Mayweather pressing for a KO that late in the fight. Especially if he's firmly in control of things.

Cotto will be competitive early I think. But by the mid rounds Floyd will have made his adjustments and he'll counter punch his way to the win.
