You're right I did, but it wasn't just based on the Larios fight, it was based more on the Solis and Barrera fights. I didn't think he looked past prime as such, more that he had just lost the hunger.

The situations aren't comparable imo, obviously now he's WAY more of a superstar than he was then, plus seems more interested in politics etc than boxing now.

Who knows, the scenario might repeat itself, he might look amazing against Bradley. I wouldn't count on it this time though, as not only is it more evident that he's lost his hunger, but his physical attributes are obviously more declined now, and against Shane and Marquez, it seemed pretty evident that he's lost his balls to the wall "No Fear" mentality. He didn't look like a fighter who was prepared to go all out for a convincing win.

As you said Bradley won't give up. Bradley is a brave, determined little fucker, who hasn't tasted defeat.

He could either bring out the best in Pacqiuao, or he could prove to be too much for this version of Pacquiao. That's why I'm picking a close decision, as I'm not sure which one is more likely, I'm just going for the safe pick

I don't see Bradley upsetting Manny. I like Bradley but his style lacks power plain and simple.

I do think he will give Manny a fight but wont' have the fire power to out last him. this is the perfect fight for Manny to look dominant again.

Bradley will come forward with pressure and unless he roids up he won't win a toe to toe fight with Manny. Even if he tries to move around it won't be much.

I fear headbutts more than anything can ruin this fight.

My big question here is head clashes. Will Manny get cut badly, maybe hurt by a butt? If his heart isn't it anymore, how will he react?

Pacquiao has a history of reacting badly to butts.

I think Pacquiao , with an opponent who comes to fight (Bradley), will have another performance on the level of his wins over Cotto and Hatton. He'll win by knock out.

I'm curious to see whose camp is going to be right now.

There's me, Xplosive, steve dave etc who think Bradley is going to match up very well against this version of Pacquiao, then there's you, v10 and Z etc, who think Bradley might bring out the best in Pacman.

It's an interesting fight for sure, way more interesting than any of Manny's recent fights.

I agree too. Bradley, for all his speed, won't be tough to find for Manny.

No doubt. Also moments in the first Morales fight where it looked like Pacquiao wanted out.

I agree with you that there is cause for concern. I just think Pac would have to be near shot to lose to Bradley. I like Bradley and he is a good fighter. I just htink he was chosen because he will make Manny attack. Bradley has one way of fighting throwing and blasting away. It certainly is a fight Pac may lose , I don't think his skills have declined against this type of fighter.I question Bradley's chin too. I have seen him stunned several times. Also chin is the worst variable to make predictions. However, Bradley is not a defensive fighter. He'll let you land two to land one. I wouldn't mind a Bradley upset. Unlike most fighters today, he seems to really want it.

Manny is not past his best. He's just fighting at a way-above-his-best weight.

Bradley needs a KO to win. No way he is getting a decision over Manny.

I'd say more that he'll let you land one while he is landing two.

Bradley is a solid workmanlike Champion.

He's not quite at Pac's level and don't think he'll ever be, but if anybody beats him, he will make them earn it.

Pac has any sort of off-night and Bradley will give him a run for his money.

He reminds me of a dirtier version of Stevie Johnston.

Manny has been used to fighting big strong guys for the past 4 years now, and dominating them, except JMM.
Bradley is a very good well rounded world class boxer. But Pacquiao will steamroll him inside 8 rounds.

I disagree totally. Manny's legs are not the same. He is physcally not the same anymore. He couldn't kayo Mosley. His legs aren't carrying him in and out anymore.

Fair enough. But it's not like KOing Mosley is some easy task.

Correct. Also, his reflexes have declined.

Timmy needs to use his own quickness, and circle Pac, and I think he could give him problems. Cause obviously, he's not gonna win by trading with Pac.

3 years when Pac still had his legs, and reflexes, this would be a blow out.

Legs is what I notice most tbh, regarding a physical decline in Pacquiao. He still has fast hands and pretty good reflexes, but his legs have slowed way down, he used to have the quickest feet in boxing, and zip around the ring like a Mongoose or something.

Let alone the mental aspect, that I don't feel Pacquiao is prepared to go to war and do whatever it takes to win at this stage of his career.

I agree Xplosive, 3 years ago I wouldn't even entertain the idea of Timmy winning.

My only concern mentally would be a clash of heads. If Manny gets cut from a head and the odds are 50/50 there, he may just go through the motions. However, if there is no headbutt, Pac will not get frustrated. He will hit timmy at will.

Hard to KO a guy who is doing everything in his power to lose a decision, though

I don't disagree that Pacquiao has slowed down

Could you take Pacman in a boxing match or MMA fight LOK? He's not that big. Like 5'7 or something and 140ish.

You guys are crazy. Pacquiao has slowed down but not to the point where it's an easy blow out win for him a couple of fights ago but now you are picking Bradley to win. You're talking like he's Roy Jones after the Johnson fight.

Pacquiao will probably look good (Bradley is tough so I don't think it will be a KO though) now that he's facing a guy coming to him and that is easy to hit and his fans will proclaim he is now entering his prime for the 4th time in his career and pick him to KO Mayweather again.

tim bradley is hardly "easy to hit". dont see where this myth started.
