MMA Overload this Weekend

I can't wait. It starts off Friday 4/20 with a great Bellator card highlighted by the rematch between Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki. The card also features both semi final bouts in Bellator's Lightweight and Middleweight tournaments. All 4 tournament fights are great match-ups.

And then Saturday night 4/21, we get UFC 145 with the grudge match between Jon Jones and Rashad Evans.

The Aoki-Alvarez fight might be the biggest non-UFC fight of the year. You've got to assume that TLC, already reeling from Overeem testing positive, will be near suicidal if Aoki gets hammered. ::

aside from the main event, ufc 145 blows. looking forward to alvarez vs. aoki as well. aoki's most effective in taking down his opponents when they're leaning against the ropes. it looks harder to do on the cage for him. i expect alvarez to whup him thoroughly unless he gets caught w/ an ankle lock.

 

I'm just fucking with ya, Shoeshiner, TLC was this kid who was madly in love with Aoki and Overeem. Actually, any fighter outside the UFC was always his radar, but Aoki....he would have sucked Aoki's nuts dry of sperm if he could.

 

Damn, he needed to pick another fighters nuts to be on. That guy was kinda hard to defend.

 

That would be a great catch-phrase..

I think I'll start using it.

 

It's official, Shinya Aoki was the most overated fighter in MMA history.

I better never see his name anywhere close to a top 10 list of lightweights. He isn't even top 20.
