Even by Proxy, U're FAILING to Illustrate where EVERY OTHER Fighter on the UFC Roster, Devoid of a Sponsor, is Being Sponsored by UFC... "Again, we can't Really Count It"...Apparently, YOU Can't Really REED it Either... REED:hammert:
We cant really count it but would be glad to offer it to anyone. They are basically telling you that they are the default sponsor. Meaning if you dont have one, you can use theirs. Just like Jon Jones. He is waiting for a big sponsor and in the mean time, without having to sign a fucking agreement, he can wear the UFCs shit until his big deal comes in. Pay attention.
Well, I tried to look for some preview cards so I could show some examples, but didn't see any right away. It's hard to keep the twins apart and Trpl himself just said he does it with Bellator, too, without disputing it. However, as I recall, it is Trplsec who goes horny cheerleader on every UFC card and not Anthony.
I used to rip on Trpl for being a homer like Anthony all the time, but I've since been proven wrong. He rips on crappy undercards etc...
LOL... Man, you just cannot comprehend anything. My point about Bellator was to point out that I am indifferent to the promotion provided the match-ups are good. And it went right over your head.
I always thought Dana White was the face of the UFC. That cueball cunt sure acts like it anyway.
What this really amounts to is the UFC starting to go vertical with their monopolistic tendencies along with their proven horizontal monopoly quest. See the 2008 quote from Dana earlier in this thread...'Why the fuck would the UFC care about clothes, we don't know fuck about clothes." And look what's going on now...'Hey, we want to provide each fighter with specific clothes and workout gear to help them because we're all about the fighters.' Gee, Jon Jones' manager sticks up for the deal. Why the heck do you think he'd do that? Because he's the guy who did it, perhaps? The UFC made Jon Jones popular and now they want to make even more off of him. When they own ever square inch of the ring, when they can cut to advertisements showing their clothes pretty much every second of their telecasts, why would they care about getting a UFC sticker on a fighter? 1. Because they can afford to. 2. To keep others from profiting from their business. 3. Because Jon Jones seems like a good investment. #2 is the vertical monopoly stuff. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The hubris of this situation, and the acting innocent defense of it, just shows that corruption is getting worse. It's pretty obvious that this presents an apparent conflict. I think it's also apparent that this is a mistake. They could have had GSP, Jones, and whoever else doing commercials for fightwear between fights and everyone would have been cool with it. It's the blatant, in-your-face-every-second-of-the-fight, UFC-wants-this-guy-to-win-judges that sucks. I like Jones a lot, but I'm hoping he gets his face bashed in now and all we see on his trunks is his spit, snot, and blood covering up the logo.
Gee, great irrelevant point. Otoh... ufc 143: you start a thread "Just watched the weigh-in and can't wait for tomorrow night." ufc on fox 2: you start a thread "Well, the great thing about an MMA Forum is that you get to chat, debate and bitch about the sport. BUT at the end of the day (or week) there are great fights to look forward to. Remember the "Fuel TV" fights start at 5PM EST." After the fights bombed, you acknowledged that they were boring matchups, but not before. ufc 132: you start a thread "Not the biggest of UFC cards, but it's rounded out with some good fights. Leben-Silva can't possibly be boring. And Condit-Stun Gun is the most compelling non-title fight possible right at 170. And I love fights where the two guys are on nice win streaks as is the case with Siver-Wiman. The winner probably sits in the top 5 in the UFC with a title shot only another win away."
Once again, you argue a point that isn't being discussed. This is why you think you're so smart, I guess.
Yes, I typically post a thread about all up coming MMA cards unless someone beats me to it. Just curious, in your world do any of those things you posted sound like blind praise of the UFC? To me it sounds like opinions about up-coming fights. And again, I call them exactly as I see them. Good or bad. LOL.... Really funny about UFC 143 which was Diaz versus Condit.. Was there any MMA fan NOT looking forward to that fight. Mike's hole of stupidity gets deeper and deeper.
Nope, I just think you're a complete idiot for faulting the UFC for doing the same basic things as any successful corporation. You're just far too simple to see it.
REED Certainly Doesn't FAULT UFC @ All, for Doing this...Just Fucking ADMIT what they're Doing, is All REED is Asking... Anthony is a Straight Up UFC SHILL..The NEXT Negative Word he Says about UFC will B the 1st...Hell, he LITERALLY Acted as if a UFC Sponsored Guy Couldn't/Wouldn't Hold SWAY w/Fightnight Judges Over a Non UFC Sponsored Fighter, Even Though Every Other Combative Sports Organization in History has Shown a Proclivity Towards Favoring their "House"(ie., Higher End, More MARKETABLE) Fighters.... As if UFC is a Benelovent, Kind-Hearted, Mother Theresa Outfit that would Never even Consider Lowballing a Fighter Financially OR Influencing a Fight...That's the TONE of Anthony's Posts, Whether he Realizes it, Admits it, or Not... U're PRO UFC & U have Every Right to Be...So is REED, Believe it or Not...But Anthony is a Straight Up SHILL... REED:dancingBaby:
I like how your fellatio twin won't let me call you and him names, but you can't stop. Once again, you miss the point. I don't fault the UFC for being successful because of everything they do, but I do fault them for some things they do (or are permitted to do). You, otoh, never admit to their doing anything wrong in a business sense or that they are permitted to do things they shouldn't be. Reed and steve_dave are trying to say Blo--Anthony--is a bigger shill than you are. Imo, that's like arguing that pig shit tastes worse than chicken shit. Nostrodamus prediction: Your next response will be off-point.
Dude, I'll make this very simple for you again because it just feels like I need to. From a business perspective, I will not fault the UFC or any corporation for doing anything that is legal and doesn't put people at risk. The difference between you and me is that I understand that a business should have a primary goal of making as much money as possible provided their practices are not illegal or unsafe. If the UFC does anything illegal or unsafe, I will be first in line to slam them. I'll even go a step further and say there are some business practices by the UFC that I don't like (i.e. holding events to compete directly with smaller shows, banning certain sponsors, holding too many events), but from a business perspective, I understand their motives.
No, I am pro good MMA fights. It doesn't matter if it's UFC, Bellator or freaking 'Rise Of A Warrior' promotions here in Fort Pierce this weekend.
And BTW, how pathetic is it that we have to sit here and LIST the things we dont like about the UFC in order to prove something? I am not saying you are pathetic or I am, im just saying it's pathetic that a few assholes here demand it.
Who gives a shit? Objectivity for the sole purpose of being objective is dishonest and a wate of time.
...& Flat Out REFUSING to See the LEAST Bit of SHADYness in your Favorite MMA Company is SHILLING...So REED'll Be 1 of the Assholes, U'll Be Mackie SHILLstone & We'll Meet Somewhere in the Fucking Middle... REED:boohoo:
There is Shady stuff from all business and all people in life. Including the UFC. However, i will not call something Shady just because you think it is. You have a me against the world mentality. I dont. I have said things that i disagree with when it comes to the UFC, but I have said much more positive things. I agree with the UFC's way of handling things most of the time. I like the way they do things. That being said, there really isnt much negative stuff i say about MMA in general. It's a young sport with lots of growing to do. They are learning as they go. Now if that makes me a shill, so be it. It's really not offensive to me. I am a fan of the UFC and MMA in general. I love it. I participate in it. It's part of my life. It's part of my boy's life.
Your threats against me for calling you one suggest otherwise, though. Anyway, I was under the impression that Jones was going to walk into the ring solely sponsored by the UFC and no one else. That's what his dipshit manager suggested in the interview, that's the only view I saw anyone stating. Then he walks in with Xyience and some other sponsors on him with the ufc being hard to read on his shorts. I was still rooting against him because of it, but it was far better than it was stated it would be.
Never once was bothered by the shill comments. You dont pay attention. That is proof by your thinking the UFC was sponsoring jones in the typical way.
Actually, I think you are correct. You didn't like me calling Trplsec a piece of shit shill when it comes to the UFC, but clarified it was the 'piece of shit' adjective that you considered offensive. However, where does it state anywhere that the UFC was just going to be another co-sponsor for Jones while he looks for a big solo sponsorship? Afaict, it doesn't anywhere: http://mmajunkie.com/news/28294/jon...p-doesnt-show-ufc-bias-major-deal-looming.mma the UFC is going to capitalize on that popularity by branding its logo all over Jones and his team during UFC 145 fight-week events. Jones admitted he's currently hoping to land a deal with a major company such as Nike. Kawa said the new arrangement with the UFC allows him to continue negotiating just such a deal. It was our decision to not go in with any other sponsors. http://www.mmaweekly.com/jon-jones-explains-ufc-sponsorship-ahead-of-showdown-with-rashad-evans How will it work? Well for Jones it begins by not walking out to the Octagon on Saturday night, April 21 with a myriad of sponsor patches on his shirt or shorts. “For this fight, I have a goal, I’ve had a goal of being sponsored by Nike for many, many years. Part of our strategy to try and make that happen one day is to not be a billboard, and not just be sponsored by TapouT one week, and Affliction one week, and then MusclePharm next week, and all these random companies,†Jones explained on Friday. “If you realize, I try to look for relationships with companies, long lasting relationships with companies. So a part of my brand is to keep it clean. Less is more in my opinion.â€
Where does it state he wont. Fighters come out to the ring with sometimes like 10 different sponsors. He came out to much less than that. Again, this was talked about many times. Too busy name calling. It was also stated that anyone can wear UFC clothing if they wanted to.
You would make a horrible Vulcan and a good girl, especially if you are saying this and really know what it means.
