Further proof of what I've been saying about the tiki-taka. If you play that style and go behind it's very difficult to up the gears.

    Deserved win for Madrid.

But I will never understand for the life of me why in the hell Guardiola went with Thiago and Tello over Fabregas and Alexis.

    Makes no sense at all.

That said, we've pretty much OWNED Madrid since 2008 so it must feel nice for them to get a win over us once in a while.

    I don't know.

This season, Madrid and Barca have played 6 times.

Barca have won 3, drew 2, and lost 1.

If Madrid and Barca meet in the final in Munich with Barca playing their best players and Madrid still win, then I would agree with you 100 PERCENT.

Thank you QPR. I knew the spiritual home of the honorable Sir Lesley Ferdinand would do us proud today.

I really fancy Newcastle now, and guess what, Newcastle might fancy the job too now themselves, which is more important again. Games against Chelsea and City will decide it for them.

Hard to call between the 3 teams going for it factoring in form/run in/points total

Our run in is keeping any aspirations in check round here. We have an awful, awful last three games: it is perfectly possible that we lose the lot.

I was following the game at work on line. I saw we went up by a goal. I told my co-worker, "Fuck this, I'm going home to watch the second half. I'll be back around 6:30 am when the match is over. "

What a game.....title race back on big time now. Citeh should hammer Wolves, but you never know. Citeh then play United and could be ahead on goal difference.

Looking forward to watching this later. Not the best result for N'Castle considering they have to play City next

Strangely, the result was just what I wanted. NUFC now guaranteed at least Europa League and Man City have something to play for. They have shown all season that they cannot handle the pressure- they've only opened up again when they thought the league was gone.

Agreed with Feebs, we have Citeh away on the last day of the season and I'd much prefer that they have something to play for as it puts the pressure on them
