Rothwell must be one of the most boring fighters ever. I'm surprised he's not gone yet the guy is horrible. Plus he looks like a mess too. Roy Nelson looks like your friendly jelly neighborhood fat man. Ben Rothwell looks like a fat sloppy unemployed sex offender. Please get rid of him PLEASE!!! I can't stand him.
From what I've seen so far, this card bites ass. Other than the main event, there isn't much to be excited about. Schaub-Rothwell SHOULD NOT be a main card fight. That shit belongs on the Facebook prelims of a free Fuel card. LOL... The UFC is supporting the Jones-Evans main even with garbage because Jones is such a huge draw. And his girly beef with Evans has generated additional interest. From a business perspective it makes perfect sense. From a fan's perspective it's shitty.
Ya the card sucks. And on top of that PPV is he next one in line and it's 2 freaking months away. You'd think they'd have enough time to put on some good fights. (I don't really care for their crappy free cards from Kangaroo land or Sweden)
Even you have to admit that Rothwell was in damn good shape. I was shocked at the weigh-in. The dude was actually solid. And he's still a big HW teetering around the 265 limit. With that chin, the dude could provide a test for some of the newbies in the division like Browne and Russow. And might even beat some sliding veterans like Kongo or Nog, if he comes back.
Oh ya I was impressed when he removed his shirt right before entering the octagon. Very impressed. I think he knew that if he lost this fight he was gone from UFC so at least made a huge effort to give it his all. Good for him.
Hell yeah.. And I'll admit, my thoughts about this card were very premature. I seriously didn't give enough credit to a few guys. And I don't know if all of the prelims had been added when this was posted. Browne-Griggs and Brown-Thompson were very interesting match-ups. By the way, I wonder if Mike saw this thread. Prety clear evidence that I don't always blindly love UFC cards. Unfortunately I was dead wrong. ::
I was contemplating betting against Hominick since he was such a huge undeserving favorite (Nobody who loses in 7 seconds to an Asian guy in their previous fight should be a -650 favorite!) Too bad I didn't and boy does it make Aldo look bad. After giving Aldo all he can handle Hominick goes to get knocked out in 7 seconds to an ASIAN! an ASIAN! and then gets dropped repeatedly and outpointed by some Hawaiian bum! 3 losses in a row Hominick be careful! Dana will keep him around a bit longer though only because he's Canadian and he needs him for his Canadian cards and markets (Just like he's doing with Hardy)

Yes, he was. You know, there was actually a moment in that fight were I don't think Rory wanted to inflict any more damage, but he just had to say 'fuck it' and keep pounding away. It was one of those moments were he just knew he was several classes better than Che Mills and could literally demolish him by any means he chose. The dude is going to be something else.
Do you recall Rory being stunned by a punch and that leading to him immidiately taking Mills down? I'm pretty sure he got tagged. I even think Rogan commented on it.
