Paul McGrath was on the television at the weekend, Irish TV, saying he hoped Chelsea batter Liverpool in the final.

 

McGrath was on the sky sports sunday highlights programme a week or so ago.....seems the nervous type on tv.

 

He's got a nervous disposition which stems from his childhood or lack thereof. He hates Liverpool over the Suarez thing despite the fact that he's spent a large chunk of his own career apologizing for mistakes and asking for clemency. He was a very talented guy who played large stretches of his career with a failing body, aggravated by alcoholism and depression and yet managed to keep some very talented players under his thumb at the same time.

 

He said he never used to go training before games.....saving his energy for the actual match itself :: :bears:

 

Chelsea are playing well, Barcelona look like they might be stung on the counter. Messi really should have scored by now.

Thats kind of how I feel too. I'd like to see Bayern win it. Real are a manufactured side with a toad for a manager, Barcelona are quality but they've had a lot of success already, and Chelsea are Real Madrid-Lite.

Terry and Ramires are OUT of the final now anyways.

 

Bayern-barca would be the ideal final. Chelsea-Madrid is smelly, smelly

Na man, I've always hated Barca and liked Real. Redondo's skill against Henning Berg at Old Trafford is one of my favourite football memories.

 

On first glance I thought he did.....via replay he didn't.
