Denied license, and cannot reapply until June 2013.

I am hearing that they announced the random drug tests at the first presser for the AO vs JDS fight. Overeem then got in his car and tried to flee the scene!

 

Fucking idiot I swear. UFC should fire him and let him go fight in the land of the rising needle.

 

That doesnt look suspicious or anything.

 

Pretty much killed his "I didn't know it had a banned substance in it" argument. So that is twice he fled from a test, only the first time he got away with it.

That was off a forum though, nothing is confimed yet. Could be BS. The hearing is still going on right now. He's trying to get it so he can reapply in 6 months instead of a year.

He's denied a license today for sure. When he can apply for one is the issue now.

End result was that Overeem was not granted a license, and he cannot apply for one for 9 months.

 

The whole hearing just made Overeem and his doctor look super shady. He went to the guy on the advice of another fighter. I'm guessing since moving to the US from Holland he needs to find a new connection. Why else would he seek out such a shady doctor. There really is no other reason. From what I have read, what they claim the doctor gave him shouldn't have been enough to elevate his t/e ratio as high as it was. He also claims to have injected himself. Unless you are a diabetic, you shouldn't even know how to inject yourself.

Confirmed to be true! He tried to skip out on the test AGAIN! He claims he heard Golden Glory was going to show up and serve him for a lawsuit they have against him.

Overeem should have never left Golden Glory. His career seems now to be managed by amateurs

 

Yep, he had all the steroids he could take and fought everywhere they don't test. You come to the UFC, you fight where they tell you and you test if it's required. If you don't have it dialed, you will get caught.
