PBF need not be great to have beaten the guys he's beaten at 140 and at 147. My picking him to beat Cotto is in no way an indication I recognize his greatness. At least not at 140 and above.

Cotto wants physically big gloves because thats his only mode of defense

    LOL basically.

I truly believe that Cotto knows he's gonna lose. He signed for the fight cause its a huge payday, but he knows in the back of his mind Floyd is gonna whup him. He'll try for awhile, but once he starts getting his ass whupped, he'll become what that scumbag Atlas calls a "game quitter".

Floyd on the other hand, sounds like he really wants to get Cotto outta there.

Lies. After Cotto beat Mosely, establishing himself as the main challenger to Floyd at 147, Floyd 'retired', claiming that 'he owned boxing' and that 'legacy pays no bills' en route to slapping around his baby-mamma or some retarded shit.

Arum wasn't going to be serving Cotto up to Floyd... this is common knowledge.

It was Margarito he clearly ducked.

Right. Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosley & Cintron all either right at their peaks or in Mosley's case, still good enough to compete with any of them. Floyd 'retires' (training the whole time).

Rusted Mosley 3 years later, Cotto 5 years and several brutal fights later. Never fights Pac.

    Floyd should get fucking cancer.

Williams, Margarito, Mosley, Cintron. They're all there. Maybe Cotto needed another 6 or 12 months but he was right there, the pins were lined up. Instead we got what we got, which was hustled, ya feel me? You know what it is, money team - past, present, future.

The Margarito duck job was terrible, I agree. Shane had a loose tooth though.

Mayweather groupies would love to believe than Floyd would beat all those guys with little trouble...but he "retired" and avoided those guys for a reason....

Mayweather vs. Margarito...? Can you imagine all the running and pot shooting Mayweather will have to do to survive....

Mayweather vs. Williams...stylistic nightmare for Mayweather...

Mayweather vs. Cotto...other than the De La Hoya fight...the biggest fight/money that could have been made.

Clottey and Cintron...not GREAT but good fighters, with Cintron he has the height and punching power advantage. Mayweather could maybe pull Corrales type performance vs. Cintron if he fights smart. Clottey's defense(arms) will make thing a bit complicated for May...

It would have been a tough fight in 07/08. Ditto Williams.

Williams probably even tougher. Close decision either way in both fights, IMO.

That's not what D&M said, though. He said that Cotto was effectively a no-mark at 147 in 2008. Which is lies.

    awesome

some of you guys say this is useless.. not true

FLoyd is not working on power shots or even pure speed on the mitt drills, the hand-eye and timing is awesome.. watch his eyes.. watching everything

Hatton said a lot of mess about floyd's "pitty pat"

what they are not showing his him killing the heavy bag which he does.. or many other drills.. the pads are about hand eye and keeping your mind sharp

Well LOK makes some plausible points. But look at what Roger's doing - he's slapping at Floyd's gloves and shoulders. And other times you see Floyd not even looking at Roger, just going through a memorized routine. I guess I just don't get it but I've my suspicions it's mainly for the cameras.

Nah, no leap amaturism from Floyd, he can fight. He's an innovator in the other epidemic of the modern age though - escapology! :mj:

The other guy is actually hitting Fraud's hands. LOL!
It would be a whole different thing if somebody else took those pads and made up a totally different routine and told him to hit the pads. They've practiced the exact same drill a million times.
    Fraud is a farce!
The Youtube comments for that video is funny in itself.

    Margarito didn't punch THAT hard.

Floyd wouldn't need to "survive". Floyd's chin is as good as Shane's at least.

Floyd woul dhave too much speed for Marg if he decided to potshot. If he decided to go toe to toe, he'd win that one as well.

That guy is good. He manages to hit Floyd's gloves everytime. (Except when he's patting him on the shoulder, but that may just be for encouragement).

I can't wait to see Floyd broke, down and out. It's inevitable if recent history has taught us anything.
