That was a great fight...Mayweather won and I hate the guy, but he's a great fighter nonetheless...it's a shame the announcers disrespected and disregarded Cotto (saying stuff like he was totally outclassed when it was a pretty close fight up till the 10th.)

to me 116-112 sounds like the most accurate type of card. The judges were a little hard on Cotto, but Floyd won this clearly.

Maybe I gave him a little too much credit for bullying Mayweather, and showing some semi-effective aggression, but I thought Cotto won 5 rounds. I think anything more than 7 to 5 isn't an accurate reflection of the fight. Close fight imo, though I'd like to rewatch it properly, I was watching on a stream that kept pausing.

 

I turned it off, don't want to watch the interview. I hate boxing interviews. Fighters lie constantly, nobody ever loses or has a tough fight, there's always an excuse or an angle.

Right now, I feel legitimately entertained by a fight that had mismatch written all over it. I don't want to spoil that feeling by being reminded of how annoying and retarded Mayweather is.

 

Styles make fights. May had no problems with Marquez. Marquez had a case to make in at least 2 of three fights against Pac. It's the counter punching and 72 inch reach that's gonna make the difference whenever Pac and May get it on.
