I have a question. Would Peterson have been caught had there not been Olympic Style Testing? I'll Holla 5000

peterson is now admitting he took testosterone pellets prior to the first khan fight. that makes sense.

Just typical though.....we all praise Peterson on his best career performance/win against Khan, and now he's admitted to doping....:shit:

LOL I have to say it's hilarious how Khan is getting shat on here for THE OTHER GUY failing a drug test. Hate at it's finest.

That is completely irrelevant here. I criticised Khan for that shit as much as anyone, in fact I thought Petersen won fair and square first time around and had a great chance of repeating that here. Thing is though, Petersen got exposed as a juicer and somehow it's Khans fault? You even have Irish accusing Khan of being on steroids for having a "spotty back" despite PASSING Olympic style testing whilst the other guy failed. It's ridiculous.

Normally I'd agree. But it's Amir Khan. So I disagree vehemently.

How much of a performance enhancer do you think those "testosterone" pellets would have been?

Pacquiao ( who I am no big fan btw ) accepted Floyd drug testing demand so I don't really see where you're going with this one

What Im getting at is that the old drug testing system is flawed. This dont have anything to do wit manny and floyd. Fighters can beat the old test. So therefore boxing needs to adapt and make all fighters do the olympic style testing. Atleast all fighters fighting for major world championship. I'll Holla 5000

It wasn't even olympic testing, it was just a normal random test.

I saw no mention of Khan being tested. Where does it say he passed a test?

Good question. For heavyweights like Wlad & Haye combining the roids with proper progressive weight training like athletes in other sports - yeah.....but if you're 147 and lean as shit already and you still gotta be 147 in 4 weeks time.....how much benefit are basic steroids gonna give you? Allot might depend on what type of designer roid and what type of training you combine it with. You'd need somebody in your team who really knew their stuff.

Guys have been caught roiding in fights where they looked crap

Khan should just negotiate a 10% cut of Peterson's purse, insist on frequent testing from here on and get on with his tag team victory with Joe 'don't stand so, dont stand so, dont stand so close to him' Cortez.

if they're canceling it altogether then he should be considered as a viable opponent for marquez.

If the card is cancelled and moved to another date, they'll probably put Khan in with somebody like the Ghost Guerrero.

If not, then he'll fight somebody really obscure in a glorified sparring match and win the belt that way.

In truth, there really is nothing for Khan at 140 anyway. He'd be best off throwing himself into the mix of Berto, Ortiz, and the rest of those guys.

    Maybe he'll get Mayweather afterall.

My fault then, cause I agree with you 100%. The old drug testing system is a joke and it takes a retard to fail it ( or having a provider mess up and give you roids who stay longer in your system than what was supposed to be the case )

There is nothing wrong with the testing itself, the problem is when the test is planned. You can time your cycle and pass no problem. The key here is random testing, you can't pass a test you don't know is coming.

that's what I meant to say. If you know when the testing is scheduled, it takes a retard or someone with sleazy contact to fail it.
