nah, I rock a Lambert jersey

If there were some way to win without Ruthlessraper at QB, I'd be all in favor of it

He won't fight any monsters on 10 days notice, he won't fight up a hill into a hail of arrows, I say undefeated.

I also doubt he quits in his corner with a bogus shoulder injury. Perhaps you're right.

    Go Floyd. :bears:

You're supposed to be rocking a whale jersey regardless of the name on the back. :pathetic:

If I were going to rock a Whale jersey, I'd probably rock a Dave Babych jersey just to spite you... You can rock a Ray "Stone Hands" Neufeld jersey in return:atu:

Once you get past the Ron Francis trade, you don't have a lot of star power for Hartford. Basically, there was Brendan Shanahan for a year, Chris Pronger before he was any good, Keith Primeau after Shanahan... If I was going to rock a Whale jersey, it would be for a role player I admired like Mark Janssens or Jocelyn Lemieux or Andre Nikolishin

How dare you slander the good name of Geoff Sanderson.

Coffey was a Whaler for a minute too.

Burke was solid. How about Peter Sidorkiewicz? He was an All Star for that awful expansion Senators team.

HaHa! Forgot about him. He filled in nicely for Liut's injury prone years.

What an awful season he had that year for an All-Star Goalie, though obviously it wasn't his fault.

If I'm not mistaken the Senators were the worst team in league history that year.

But hey, one all-star from every team. :nono:

Sanderson was a soft, perimeter player who tried hard about 25% of the time

"The Little Ball Of Hate" was a terrific player and he never took a shift off his whole career... Nasty little bastard, not a fighter, but he loved offering his stick as a dental instrument... In fairness to him, he would do so against anyone and everyone, which showed his bravery

my avatar was the GM of that team

unsurprisingly, he was fired in the offseason:lol:

Liut was a fine goaltender but very injury prone

Burke was a great "Bad Team" goalie, making incredible saves that only a handful of goalies are capable of, and an average goalie in the few instances when he had decent teams in front of him (his New Jersey Days), where he would almost be guaranteed to allow several dozen totally soft goals in what would ultimately be crucial situations
