    I didn't like it either.

I couldn't finish watching The Grindhouse. It totally lost me, except for the trailer for Machete which was brilliant enough to spawn a real (and better) movie.

That is my point. if he is older like you it's possible. But for people who were children or teens in the 80s, we loved it.

Hey,I was alive and well in the 80's and watching shitty double bill movies in the dollar movie theaters too. I watched so many crappy movies I wish I hadn't. :Wah:

Machete rules, I love the Hungarian bodyguard (he's actually the director of the movie Kontroll).

I like the part when he takes a small break from the mayhem at the villain's mansion just to f@ck the wife & the daughter in the pool. That was a riot.

    Danny Trejo is a legend.

I just watched Death Proof for the second time, I like d it. The second half drags on a bit with their stupid convoc, but it really picks up in the last 20 minutes.

BTW, that girl doing the lapdance has a weird face but a crazy good body.

Trejo's new movie about Epic Beard man looks good.

I agree. Death Proof had all the great qualities of a typical Tarintino flick. Great acting, simple yet deeply brilliant conversations. Don't see how Tarintino fans could not like it. In fact that was the very reason I hated Machete so much. I was expecting those Tarintino qualities to show up in that film and when it didn't I just flat out hated it.

It probably has to do with the fact that Taran did not direct it and was not in any way involved with it?

Machete was superb, and yeah, it's a Rodriguez film, they are very different.

Rodriguez just finished Machete Kills and is now working on Sin City 2.
