Green strikes me as a borderline world-class fighter with some serious flaws. Kessler looked shit and brilliant in equal measure.
You can find the full fight on youtube if the above links don't work. I thought Kessler looked like Kessler and Green looked better than he usually does at the top level. Green landed his best shot and it put Kessler down. Rather than go all-out after that, Green paced himself and took a big shot or two at the end of round 1. Then Kessler just outclasses him, although Green did throw more than he usually does. Kessler lands a big foreshadowing hook in round 2 with 27 seconds left that hurt Green. Kessler lands some more nice shots in round 3. The shot he landed in round 4 is a KO of the year type shot and the way Green reacts is a KTFO of the year type reaction. Showtime should have snagged this fight. They invested in both of these guys to make them names in the US and this fight figured to be a showcase for Kessler, at worst.
Green is an amateur. Kessler kept hitting him at will with those wild lead left hooks. A true pro should not get hit with wild amateur swings like that.
