It really sucks Bute-Froch aint on Showtime

It's the most impressive streak of that length I know of. I get a similar streak of only 6 for Hagler to close out his career.

A good case for Pacquiao can be made, but I like Froch's better.

I don't like Bute or his crappy resume. What I do like is attending big fights. I've made it clear in several threads that I hope Bute wins because I want some big fights to end up in Montreal.

 

Froch did lose two of those fights and I thought he should have lost to Dirrell too.

 

Froch did NOT lose to Dirrell. Dirrell beat himself by 'fighting' like a complete and utter cunt. If he'd won that fight I would have literally stopped watching boxing and given it up for dead.

Froch wanted it, and made like he wanted it, Dirrell made the same mistake Haye did with Wlad, he showed up more with a view to finding a way to win the fight without actually fighting it. Dirrell got what he had coming. As you and I say, round by round, Dirrell wins it, but in terms of an overall, in terms of which of them wanted to be there and was comfortable in there, thats Frochs fight. If there was another 3 rounds to go, he'd have taken them. Dirrell was ready to pull an Abraham at any given moment.

Dirrell got fucking robbed. I didn't like the way he fought either, but it's clear who the better boxer was that night and it wasn't Froch.

 

Yeah...I'm not Dirrell fan but he won that fight.

I don't have anything bad to say about Froch btw...I just happened to think he (Dirrell) won that fight.

The last three or four years you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who has had a tougher schedule than Froch.
