Lennox Lewis still rich almost 10 years into retirement

According to the Sunday Times Rich List as of May 2012, Lennox Lewis' net worth is $150 million+ and owns property in Hertfordshire, Jamaica and Florida.

Other boxers from Lewis' era including Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson apparently have lost most of their money and filed for bankruptcy protection. Both are worth $1 million respectively, estimated.

 

Lewis was a better fighter than those guys too. :bears:

It really is too bad. He should have wound up comfortably retired with millions in the bank. If he had unified with Lennox, it would have been great for boxing and great for his pocketbook---better than fighting Dokes and Ferguson anyways.

He seems to be doing much better for himself though than Tyson, Holyfield and Bowe. Took much better care of his money while the other guys squandered their earnings.
