Did I read that right the Bute camp are lobbying for a DQ victory

I thought it was a two fight deal....one in england the other in montreal. Bute might consider lookimg for an escape clause.

 

Slow thinkers those faggots....Someone from Froch corner/entourage had enter the ring wayyyy before Bute own trainer came in and stop the fight. Had they been on their A game they could have gotten the DQ victory, but instead decided on teh towel .

 

Ward vs Dawson is a crock of shit fight and everyone knows it. Dawson has limped from the Pascal affair {yes, thats the same Pascal that lost to Froch in a war} and into the Hopkins affair {yes, the fight that ended on a TKO/NC in 2 rounds] and into an EPIC rematch with Hopkins, so epic that it did like 3 buys on PPV......and now a stink fest in the making with Ward.

The fucking American networks won't even broadcast fights like Bute vs Froch or Green vs Kessler....because they are in Europe? America is going down the pisser.....simply not in a position to simply unilaterally demand that Froch vs Ward II takes place in America.

The fact that Froch has wins over 4 top guys that Ward hasn't even fought is enough to counter the fact that Ward beat Froch.

Is Froch denying Bute the home rematch because he beat Bute already? Is Kessler denying Froch a home-rematch because he already beat Froch?

 

He got involved way too much. At one point Bute was holding the ref AND froch.

 

Re-watching now. Looks more like a mismatch with ever second. I said before hand it'll either 'be a lacy' fight or Bute does something 'surprising'. The former is clearly the case.

froch beats that shit in a rematch no probs

 

I figured Bute was quicker than he appeared tonight and I figured that would be enough for him to win a decision. I will happily admit I overrated his quickness, based largely off of seeing him against bums. Froch threw caution to the wind by the second or third round and just attacked, forcing a pace that Bute appeared impotent against. This was a good win for Froch, he did a fine job and he is a good fighter.

I can't envision Bute being able to beat him. He lacks the skills to alter his strategy very much and since tonight's fight proved that his speed is a non-factor and that his punch resistance is officially suspect, all Carl Froch has to do is "bring it" in much the same way he did tonight and he will stop him again.

 

I know Froch is good. His recent opponents list from Pascal is insane as well.

 

I had a feeling Froch would win but I envisioned a MUCH TOUGHER fight.
