I hope he pulls through. To get your legs back when you think they're fucked would be an incredible blessing, he'd be grateful the whole thing happened

Some people just have more of a capability to enjoy life than others too, it goes without saying. Some people have it made, good looks, lots of money, nice upbringing, lots of friends, and yet are somehow inherently miserable. And of course you get people that are the opposite of that too.

Ah fuck, he had his limitations, but he was one of my favorite people in the sport.

None.Life is being healthy and able bodied of mind and body. I'd rather be dead than a burden. I mean I am almost a cripple, but I can still work.

 

One of my closest friends (not the guy I was talking about earlier) is technically a quadriplegic. She can't walk but she has limited movement is her arms. But she can still hold stuff, write, type, control her electric wheelchair etc..

I worked with her for two years and she was amazing. Came drinking with me every friday and stayed until the very end. Just a solid person, once you get to know her you forget about the chair. Tons of dignity. More than most people I have met. You're wrong on this one.
