Bad move for Rodgers I think.

Bad move for everyone. I was in great form having cycled 20 miles and worked up a healty sweat, then I come in and read that this truncated Hun and the burns victim are in charge. Hmmm.

Rodgers isn't a hun in fairness, he's a good egg.

Definitely wouldn't want Van Gaal in a Director role as an incoming manager...the slightest hint of a bad run, Rodgers will be jettisoned and van Gaal will step in to steady the ship

I don't rate Van Gaal at all, there's a hint of the Big Me about him. I prefer Martinez in the managerial role and Benitez in the DoF role. The handsome charmer as the manager, the shrewd plotter pulling the strings. They are both Spanish, that helps.

Van Gaal's record is pretty remarkable, I can't see much room available for not rating him. Which only serves to undermine Rodgers position more, frankly. I can't see the point in rodgers being there if you can attract Van Gaal & I cant see any point in bringing in Van Gaal if he isn't wiling to do the job he's good at.

    who? Undisputed Champion

maureen learned from van gaal and rogers from maureen. i could see them working together ok, as long as rogers knows he's strictly the coach.

that being said this type of shit NEVER works

    plus van gaal is psychotic

You just answered your own question  I never questioned his record, he has won lots.....its the nature of his relationship with the manager that worries me, hence the "Big Me" concern.

    Benitez-Martinez is perfect.

Oi ya bam, I'm not taking the fall for this one. 'I don't rate Van Gaal at all', not 'I dont think he's suited to this type of role'

Van Gaal has a personality issue. He's won stuff, I can't deny that. I once read he looks in a mirror every morning and tells himself how handsome he is.

Presumably because nobody else will do it.

Please, The Dirk is Fabio by comparison, and I don't mean Aurelio.

Van Gaal wouldn't be out of place in 80's Jo'Burg, he's a big bad Baas man.

At 1:05, and "We Support the Celtic", I finally heard something in English.

The Hulk could be on his way to Chelski.

Whole phenomenon is inexplicable. They came to sing at Celtic Park last month. I was like a shark getting it's belly tickled.....immobilized by confusion.

  22. Irish

Not likely. The Hulk is already available in plastic.

I never understood why such ancient people should be captivated by something as new and plastic as fitbaw.

Looks like Rodgers will be the new LFC manager. Swansea will probably get relegated now. Didn't Rodgers recently say he had "unfinished business" with Swansea? :shit:

  25. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

Yeah he wants to see them relegated  Thats his unfinished business.....:dunno:

Apart from leading the press on a wild goose chase, I can't say I am all that impressed by the appointment of Rodgers.

They're after somebody young and hungry and they say Rodgers fits the bill.

I would prefer Rodgers over Matrinez... At least Swansea had a pretty decent year / play good football. While Martinez has potential he got the interview via Whelan telling us all how great he is..

it's a sad state of affairs..
